7 Things To Have In Your Wedding Bag

A bride must be prepared for her wedding day. It will be the most enjoyable, but also one of the longest, days of your life! We women are known for carrying around the kitchen sink as they say in our handbags, but that will not be the case on the day of your wedding. You should have a small to medium sized clutch bag in which you can put the essentials you might need during the day. Whether you are doing your make-up yourself on the morning of your wedding or having it done by a make-up artist, there are sure to be some little touch ups needed as the celebrations continue late into the night. Here are the 7 things that every bride should have packed in her bridal bag! If you have these you are set to go, and remember, you look fabulous!

1. Concealer

A great little product which will keep any imperfections covered up. You should’t need to apply more foundation but some concealer can be great for the odd touch up.

2. Pressed Powder

This will remove any shine that may appear during the day, and don’t worry if that does happen! From greeting guests to getting your wedding photographs taken you will be on the go quite a bit.

3. Lipstick/Lipgloss

If you are anything like me you wouldn’t leave the house without your chosen lipstick or lipgloss anyway! You might be best to choose a lipstick as they last longer. But in saying that no matter how long it may claim to last. don’t expect it to stay put the entire day.

4. Hair Pins

These will come in handy when it comes to any flyaways in your upstyle. If you are wearing your hair down they are great if you decide you want to pin your hair back off your face later into the evening.

5. Miniature Perfume

You won’t have enough room to pack your standard bottle but ask for a sample at the perfume counter in your local department store. You may decide to wear your classic scent or be adventurous and try something a little different!

6. Tissues

It’s going to be an emotional day with lots of sentimental and heart felt words shared. Keep a little packet of tissues close to your side just in case joys of joy make an appearance. No one wants to see a panda eyed bride!

7. Safety Pins

Accidents can happen, although we hope not but be prepared! Safety pins or some double sided tape are great to as they usually can come to the rescue should there be any clothing malfunctions.
