Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgewick – 26 Years
Actor Kevin Bacon has been married to fellow actress Kyra Sedgwick since September 4, 1988. They met on the set of “Lemon Sky” in the ’80s and then they began their magical journey. They have two children together, Travis and Sosie.
Elton John & David Furnish – 21 Years
In 1993, singer Elton John began a relationship with David Furnish. The long time lovers were amongst the first couples in the UK to form a civil partnership, they married on 21 December 2005, the same day that the Civil Partnership Act came into effect. They have two sons together, Zachary and Elijah.
Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson – 26 Years
Tom Hanks married actress Rita Wilson in 1988. The two first met on the set of Hanks’ television show Bosom Buddies, then later developed a romantic interest while working on another project. They have two sons, Chester and Truman.
It is really admirable to have such strong and lasting relationships while in the public eye. We could take a leaf out of their books.
