James McLean is a Singer/Songwriter and working musician. His music has been synced to domestic TV shows (Made In Chelsea, Bajo Sospecha) and series trailers (Nurse Jackie).
After growing up in Toulouse, James went on to study a diploma in guitar at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in Kilburn. Which in turn lead him into playing guitar for numerous acts. James currently plays guitar for a number of band projects, this year having been on a national tour with MALKA (former frontwoman of the acclaimed ‘6 Day Riot’) promoting her album release, as well as being lead guitarist for a number of bands.
James fuels his songwriting making a living performing as a busker and function musician. He has taken part in a variety of ‘alternative gigs’ including performing for a surprise proposal on top of the London Eye to being hired to save relationships on the verge of breakup. James regularly busks round London, he can often be found entertaining the tourists outside the Tate Modern.
