The Garden Suite can cater for up to 120 guests for the Wedding Meal and 160 for an evening reception but is equally suited to smaller numbers and when weather permits we have sheltered gardens which add an extra dimension for photographs and for your guests to enjoy.
For more intimate Weddings without dancing Alexander’s Restaurant and Scorecards Lounge have spectacular views over the West Sands and the Links. We can cater for a maximum of 30 guests in intimate and exclusive surroundings with the added facility of terraces at the front of the hotel.
The hotel has a license for Civil Marriage Ceremonies and we have a number of options depending on your numbers.
Whether its an intimate wedding for just 4 people or a celebration with 160 guests, we will treat you just the same and do our utmost to exceed your expectations.

The bar staff were also great, no-one had to wait long for a drink, the bar was fully stocked and the prices were more like pub prices than hotel prices - this was bonus and makes the hotel even more appealing, often the most common complaint guests have about weddings are the prices hotels charge for a drink!
We were blessed with lovely weather on our day and made full use of the wonderful garden, it was immaculately presented and perfect for photographs - so perfect that we ended up having most of our photographs taken in the garden (with the exception of the Swilcan Bridge of course, which is a two minute walk from the hotel), this meant that we didn't need to leave our guests and travel to other locations for photographs...which was a blessing really, since the day goes so quickly.
I would definitely recommend the Best Western Scores Hotel for a wedding venue, its biggest asset is its staff, the locations and beautiful gardens are just a bonus. Phil, the hospitality manager, is one of a kind and will ensure your wedding day goes without a hitch.

Food great, venue more than suitable for 120 for meal and 150 at night.
Prices of food and drink reasonable for St Andrews, rooms lovely.
Might be classed as 3* hotel but 5* service!
