We attended a wedding fare early in 2016 at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel, with the intention of using the fare for ideas on planning our wedding later in the year. However during the fare, we realised, that the Carnoustie Golf Hotel would be the ideal venue for us. It was centrally located for most of our guests, with accommodation and good transport links, for those travelling from further afield.
The fare also allowed us to choose other entertainments for the guests, Wedding cars, flowers and Baker's for the cake, a Roulette and Blackjack table for entertainment only, which was a big hit with all the guests and other useful information and services for planning a wedding.
We choose the Burnside package for the wedding, which was within our budget, but also with the option of adding extra guests (an extra 27 in all). This package included quite a few extras, including tables dressed, piper for the ceremony and reception to name just a few.
Morag, the wedding coordinator for the hotel, was a pleasure to work with, (as were all the hotel staff), with regular meetings, which kept both parties informed.
I am glad to say, that the wedding and reception both went extremely well. The menu selection was very good indeed and those with dietary restrictions well catered for.
I had no complaints from any of the guests about any aspects of the Wedding or reception.
We can highly recommend the Carnoustie Golf Hotel not only for weddings, but for other functions too.
