Sitting at the apex of six acres of Victorian Walled Gardens, The Glasshouse forms part of the world's only fruit tree maze. Whether playing host to smaller intimate ceremonies, or larger celebrations, in winter, spring, summer and autumn, indoors or outdoors, you will discover a unique and magical setting for your civil ceremony and drinks reception. It is also ideal for blessings and multi-faith celebrations.
The unusual fan-shaped Glasshouse, with 180°views of the maze, is light and airy, with furniture, silk floral decorations and music sound system provided for your indoor ceremony. The Glasshouse can seat up to 120 guests.
The Walled Garden Pavilion sits within its own beautiful and private garden, a few steps away from the Glasshouse. The Pavilion offers the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and evening reception, accommodating up to 150 guests.
Stepping onto an al-fresco terrace and into a stylish reception space with neutral decor, comfortable lounge seating and a contemporary bar leading into a spacious dining area. Behind the reveal curtain, the classic dancefloor glitters under the magnificent starlit ceiling. Your choice of flowers, decoration and entertainment will complete the picture. The Pavilion is fully lined in white with central ceiling chandeliers and floor level up-lighting, indoor cloakrooms and catering facilities.
Bridal accommodation is provided for the night prior to your wedding, within our private and sumptuous cottage, Stone Lodge, which is situated on the edge of the Estate. Here you and your bridal party can be pampered and prepare for your big day without any distractions other than a well-deserved glass of fizz and the sounds of birdson. Your wedding night will be spent in the North Wing Honeymoon Suite (housed within the Abbey itself!), the perfect finale to your wedding day at Combermere Abbey.
Onsite accommodation is available for your friends and family to stay within the Courtyard Cottages. Sleeping up to 49 guests, these are located just mere steps away from the Walled Gardens and can be booked for either a one or two night stay.

I want ... Read More
