A non-refundable £1000.00 deposit is required to secure the date for your booking, the date remains on sale by the hotel until the deposit is received. Part payment of 50% is required 4 months prior to the event date Final numbers and full payment of the balance must be paid 14 days prior to the wedding date; the event may be cancelled if payment is not received. A refundable £500.00 deposit is required against cleaning and damages to the hotel following the event. The package covers a 6 hour time slot should you run over this allotted time you will be charged £200.00 due to extra staffing costs. We run from the timings you provide in your final details appointment, ie meal service time etc - should the timings vary/run over the pre-agreed timings you will be charged £200.00 due to extra staffing costs etc. Following this, a contract will be sent to you that should be signed and returned within 7 days of receipt. We require that you are precise with your numbers as we will only have seating for the numbers you confirm. Contact details for the catering company must be supplied alongside the signed contract in order that Food Safety information and a hotel disclaimer can be sent out. Your caterer must return the Food Safety, Allergen information and disclaimer to the venue no later than four weeks before the event date. The Jurys Inn will only work with catering companies that: Provide full allergen information for all foods and drinks to be served at the event in accordance with applicable UK allergen labelling requirements imposed by law, so that it is available to be consulted by guests at the event. Meet the requirements of the Food safety Act 1990 and provide safe food and all relevant food safety regulations that might apply to your food operation Meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work act 1974 and all relevant regulations that might apply. Sign the Self Catered Event Agreement and on site health and safety guidelines and procedures for external caterers The information above is requested from the Catering Company as a requirement of the hotel and UK Law, should the food company not supply the required information to the hotel by the specified date then the event may be cancelled. The hotel has preferred suppliers who have demonstrated the required standards and whose details we can forward to you. Children must be supervised at all times. Please respect that there are other guests in the hotel. Corkage charges available on request. Strictly authorised persons only are permitted to enter the kitchen and back of house area, names of which will be taken during final wedding meeting with coordinator. No exceptions. All prices include VAT @ current rate. The hirer will be liable for any damages and losses during the event and its contents by guests and any other parties in connection with the wedding. Charges will be raised at full replacement cost and additional charges may be raised to cover loss of business incurred as a result of the damage; together with labor charges also incurred. The Jurys Inn Hotel will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to guest’s property Payment percentage required as per table below. In the event of cancellation, the following percentage charges will also apply: 12 months prior to your wedding date £1000 deposit is non-refundable 6 months prior to your wedding date 50% of full balance 3 months prior to your wedding date 75% of full balance 1 months or less 100% of full balance plus £500 damage deposit
