Paul & Sarah onby
After looking at a couple of venues and being from Tralee my fiancé and I decided on Ballyroe Heights, having attended many weddings there over years. The location is fantastic just a few minutes from Tralee. From the moment we made the initial appointment nothing was overlooked from our meeting with Jonathan. We got married on the June Bank Holiday weekend so we were lucky enough to secure that date even though we booked well in advance.
Leading up to the wedding we met with Jonathan to discuss menu options and decided on their Diamond Package which we sampled a few weeks before our big day. The full menu was presented to us and not just taster plates like some other hotels offer and it really is excellent value for money.
The weather was fantastic a few days before the wedding and once we dropped off the drinks for the drinks reception on arrival Jonathan suggested in having cocktails on the patio and the day itself was the hottest day of the year so they went down a treat with everyone and there were a few different options! Everyone was outside taking in the sun and the views (there are great views over Tralee bay from the hotel!)
The function room is great as it is really well laid out and presented and it was decorated in our chosen colours along with flowers which our florist sorted out with the hotel directly. We had some guests staying over and they were very happy with the hotel rate considering it was a bank holiday weekend in peak tourist season. All the people who had travelled to the wedding commented on the high standard of food and the great layout of room itself.
We really could not fault the service and attention to detail which received from Jonathan and all the staff and Ballyroe Heights Hotel, overall we had a fantastic time and could not recommend enough for a wedding!
5 Star Serice and Value for money!
