We are back to reality again after an amazing honeymoon and a wedding that we have only ever dreamed of. We can honestly say that The Ballyroe Heights Hotel made this dream come true for us. From the moment we walked into the hotel to view it as a venue for our big day we knew we would not have to look any further as it was amazing. The hotel itself is set in the most beautiful location with fabulous views overlooking the mountains, made for lovely photographs. We met with Mike one of the managers and he was more than helpful, he went through every detail with us and gave us some great ideas too. All of the management made it their business to introduce themselves and make us feel welcome. The staff were first class, everytime we'd phone or call in they would make us feel so welcome and nothing was ever a problem.
On our big day it really was a dream come true, the room was only amazing they certainly knew how to make a WOW impression when you walk in. Every little detail was done to perfection. All the little touches such as the lady playing the piano in the entrance reception area, the canapes and sangria were just the icing on the cake. The meal was unbelievable and served promptly and hot and they went around many times asking if anyone would like some more. Our guests never stopped talking about the food and even the evening food and of how they served more food again after the band had finished. Everyone really enjoyed this and said they had never got this at a wedding they had been to before.
All in all we have to say we would highly recommend the Ballyroe Heights Hotel as a wedding venue. We came from Cork to have our wedding reception there as we knew they were pure professionals when it comes to weddings. We had read many reviews about the hotel and everyone was outstanding, the quality and value for money in our opinion would be found nowhere. The fact that they have at least one wedding a week surely proves this.
