At the Ipswich Hotel we understand that your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life and we appreciate that there’s a lot to do when planning your day. Our Wedding Co-ordinator and team are fully committed to delivering you a truly memorable experience and ensuring that your day goes without a hitch.

Whether you opt for a traditional white wedding or something less formal, we can accommodate all of your needs providing a full range of wedding services individually tailored to you. In addition, our Wedding Co-ordinator can recommend professional local companies to help you take care of many of the day’s necessary arrangements. We will help in anyway we can to ensure that your special day is an extra-special day.

We are also licensed to hold the actual marriage ceremony and Civil Ceremonies, for up to 30 guests in our Lucas Suite and up to 90 guests in our Constable Suite.

The Wolsey Suite comprises of our restaurant, bar and beautiful walled garden which offers an ideal backdrop for your photography. In the summer months it opens out allowing your guests to make the most of the warm days. This can accommodate up to 100 guests for your wedding breakfast and 150 for the reception.

The Suffolk Suite can accommodate up to 350 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 400 for the reception. With its own entrance, car park, bar, cloakroom, stage and dance floor, it really is the perfect wedding venue and offers the option of partition walls to alter the size and feel of the room.

garden room was wonderfully decorated and set up well for the reception. It was lovely, people could step outside of the room into the garden outside to have drinks, take photos, play garden games and use the bouncy castle we hired. We would definitely recommend everybody to have a wedding reception here, as we had fantastic time at Best Western Ipswich Hotel. Many thanks again for a superb wedding reception.

Perfect venue for our perfect day.

My wife and I visited several different venues, but the Ipswich Hotel was so obviously perfect for us. The hotel itself is lovely and we found the staff to be very helpful. We used the Suffolk Suite which is huge and has ample car parking. The hotel is easy to …

access and was perfectly located for us.

One of the real winning points for us was the food, and all of our guests agreed. The quality was magnificent and the portions very generous.

There is a beautiful, large garden area out the back to take all the photo's in. We also stayed at the hotel in the super bridal suite which was huge, and had a very large en suite bathroom. All of our guests that stayed at the hotel were just as impressed with their rooms, which they got at a discounted price for attending our wedding.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about tying the knot.
