When we first met Gill and Paul, the professionalism and genuine care for their weddings were evident immediately and my husband to be and I had confidence that they could pull off the wedding that we wanted. We live in France and so much of the communication was done over the phone and via email which we always had prompt responses to. When the day itself came around we were lucky enough to be able to set up the day before and had a detailed run through with Ben who honestly is the epitome of professionalism and organisation. Despite this, we were still sure that on the day itself there were bound to be a few minor details that would go wrong but we can truly say that every part of our wedding was magical and ran more smoothly than we could ever have hoped for. From timings to the food, everything was perfect. The barn is a beautiful place to get married and although biased I have to say that it couldn't be more perfect for a cosy winter wedding. The food was exceptional and we have had so many guests say that it was one of the nicest meals they have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary, just one example is how several waiters bring the meals to each table all at once so that everyone is served together, this was an unexpected detail that really adds a sense of occasion to the meal. Every member of staff that we met were friendly, polite and professional. We could not have asked for a better day and we can't thank the Blackstock team enough. This is the place that everyone should aim to get married at and other venues could learn a lot from this team.
