From the very first day we met the wedding co-ordinator in The Four Seasons Carlingford the high level of customer service was evident. Well, to be honest it was more than customer service it was a personal touch that was friendly and sincere. We had gone to other venues and it was clear we were another couple jumping on the production line of the 'wedding factory'. So when walked up the paved steps surrounded by the beautiful scenic views, we were greeted with bright, sincere smiles. As we waited, we were chatted to by the service staff about football, the weather- to be honest the craic was great! During the meeting we were given band recommendations, tips and hints that I had never thought of. My fiancé and I left that meeting feeling like Megan was so excited for our wedding! Her genuine enthusiasm that day and the friendly feel in the hotel made our decision very easy. We had the wedding booked and deposit in within 12 hours.
Was it the right decision? Absolutely!!Even at the tasting session I was not only bowled over by the food- which was out of this world, but the behaviour of the young staff blew me away. We had our (restless) three year old with us. They took him colouring pages and crayons, got his favourite food- goujons-cooked and brought them down. They crouched down as they gave him the tomato sauce, chatting amiably all the time. To the extent that by the time he got his ice cream, he thought he had three new friends as they were on first name terms!
The staff were always there to help with any wedding problem. The night before my wedding I called them at 2am to fix tableplans- 'not a problem Corinna'- their response to nearly every request.
Would I recommend as a wedding venue? Definitely!
My guests were so impressed by the cosy atmosphere in the hotel, the very friendly staff as well as the exquisite food. The decor of the room amazed them.
The Four Seasons Hotel definitely helped make my wedding the success it was. A perfect venue.
