Orla and I had our wedding reception at Harveys Point on Saturday November 7th 2015.
I have been to a family wedding at Harveys Point before so my expectations were already very high. Not only were these expectations met,they were surpassed which I did not think would be possible.
The wedding co-ordinator Samantha and her team did an excellent job. The way Harveys do the little touches I have not seen bettered at any other wedding venue. The entrance for the bridal party, the service of the food to the top table and the food itself was phenomenal.
We went for the buffet option which I have not seen done at any other wedding venue. The starters range from garlic bread to oysters with everything in between. You don't have to worry about your guests who are picky eaters as no matter what your pallet is,you will be in food heaven.
All of our guests had an amazing time. Any guests who stayed in the hotel (which I would highly recommend) could not get over the size of the rooms.
It's hard to find a fault in anything that Harveys Point did. I can't see how anybody would be disappointed with Harveys as a wedding venue. The grounds itself also make for breathtaking photos.
The layout of the ball room certainly adds to the occasion. The sunk dance floor makes it hard to leave the dance floor while having the bar in the room means that the party does not get split up.
