My Husband & I held our wedding in The Oriel House Hotel on St. Patrick’s Day and we have to say they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
We could not praise the Oriel staff enough.
We had a large wedding of just under two hundred guests and they catered for us without a problem.
Most of our guests were travelling to the wedding and accommodation was a big issue for us.
Sharon Buckley, the accommodation manager, worked tirelessly to fit in all of our guests and worked with us on many aspects of the wedding on top of accommodation from the moment we booked our wedding. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.
A lot of the hotel has recently been refurbished and it all looks very impressive.
The GM, Ronan, and his team did a terrific job in looking after us over three days.
Nothing was too much trouble and all our guests were really impressed with every aspect about the hotel.
The quality of food from Head Chef Ronan and the service and friendliness of all the staff was exceptional.
Philip, the Banqueting manager, ran our wedding meal service like clockwork. We had Closhes for the top table and Philip appeared to control the coordination of this through his finger tips!!
We had a new wedding co-ordinator, Elaine, start about a month before our wedding and her attention to every detail we requested was top notch.
We could not compliment and thank all the team enough at The Oriel for all they did for us and all our guests had an amazing few days.
The honeymoon suite was out of this world, spread over 4 rooms and was the best one we saw. On the morning of the wedding we were able to have breakfast with our families in the Honeymoon Suite Dining Room.
There were two other weddings on the same weekend and we felt very looked after for the whole three days we were there.
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone considering a wedding venue
