Chelsea & Matt Laity onby
We had been together for 6 years and Matt decided it was the right time to propose. Christmas Eve 2016 was the perfect day.
Almost immediately, we started researching wedding venues. We had visited a few places but the one that we fell in love with was The Penventon Park Hotel. We adored the luxuriousness of the décor and the warm friendliness of the staff. We knew we had to have it for our May wedding in 2018.
We met Sally on one Sunday and felt so relaxed and assured that she would take care of us on our special day. Sally met every expectation and was a dream to organise our wedding with.
We already knew we wanted a traditional church wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony at Breage Church with weather that could have been imported from St Tropez.
On arrival at The Penventon, we were greeted by Sally with a glass of champagne each. It was very refreshing and as the weather was so fabulous, we were able to have our welcome drinks outside with all of our guests. We made our way to the wedding breakfast, where we enjoyed a beautiful three course dinner. As we had a lot of guests, we hoped everyone would be fed at the same time. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.
One of the things we loved the most about the function room we chose, was that we had a large bar and a big dance floor. We had plenty of drinks flowing and more than enough room to dance all night long.
By the end of our wedding, we were so happy with how our day went. Sally and her team were amazing and we could not recommend them enough.
May 5 th 2018 became our perfect day.
All our love
Mr and Mrs Laity
