We were married on 23 October 2015, and we couldn't fault the Old Inn in any way.
They were available for appointments leading up to the wedding, always at times that suited us, listened to all of our (many) details of what we wanted for our day and catered to them all. One thing that impressed me was that we had several changes about a week before the wedding and it was no problem to both the wedding staff and reception staff to help us with this. All of our guests rooms and the bridal suit were so nice & homely and had everything we needed.
The wedding day was perfect, every single detail was carried out as we had requested and as a result of this the whole day went without a hitch. The Old Inn has a Master of Ceremonies called Sean and he is brilliant, he knows all of your details and timings and is there with you throughout the whole day letting you know what's next and making sure you are happy and everything is running smoothly, we don't think our wedding would of been the same without his help.
We eat in the Old Inn restaurant quite regularly and have never had a bad meal, this was one of the main reasons that we had picked the Old Inn, and on our big day, yet again, they did not disappoint, everyone got the correct meal that they had picked, the food was outstanding and after the wedding one of the things that all of our guests were actually talking about was how amazing the food was, not only for the main meal but for our evening reception hot buffet and the breakfast.
Reasons to chose the Old Inn... all of the above, plus they have a spiral staircase and huge chandelier (which is amazing for photographs), a private room just above the function room so guests don't have to go far for the evening turnover, a private cottage for the bridal suite and you can choose low lighting to match your colour scheme which looks amazing, and you wont get better food, staff or atmosphere than the Old Inn.
Many thanks to the Old Inn for making our day so amazing!
