From elaborate gatherings with plenty of tradition in the King's Hall to smaller celebrations in our Library Suite, our wedding planning team will be there to assist you every step of the way.
An iconic Edinburgh setting
The stunning King's Hall, originally built as the banking room of the Caledonian Insurance Company, is one of the most popular wedding venues in the city and boasts a stunning stained-glass ceiling and striking chandelier - the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs and big enough for lavish wedding breakfast as well as a dance floor. And you will be in safe hangs, with an experienced and award-winning team of wedding co-ordinators to assist with every detail.
The best of old & new
For smaller wedding ceremonies and breakfasts, the Library is sometimes available (according to the day of the week and subject to other weddings and events). With ample room for up to 40 guests, the Library takes the grandeur of the original building and scales it down to a more intimate scale, with period details, nods to Scottish traditions, wooden panelling and a gorgeous contemporary chandelier. The hotel wedding team will work with you to ensure that all the services you’d expect are executed to the highest standards.
