Again, many venues will have sales targets they need to reach by an end of month or quarter and will more than likely have at least one date that is still lingering. Depending on if you want a church wedding, having your reception and ceremony in the same venue could mean you have saved a lot on transport costs. For example, your ceremony could be outdoor and the reception could be indoor.
