Celebrate National Vegan Month At The Vine Hotels

Ahead of National Vegan Month this NovemberVine Hotels has introduced tantalising new vegan wedding menus across six of its UK hotels and wedding venues.  Couples can enjoy a delicious new choice of vegan dishes that have been developed by Vine’s team of expert chefs to ensure that the growing number of three million vegans* in the UK have a wedding breakfast that perfectly suits their tastes.

The venues featuring new vegan wedding menus include DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park, Mosborough Hall, Whirlowbrook Hall, Mercure Southampton Centre Dolphin Hotel, Best Western Cresta Court and Kenwood Hall Hotel & Spa.

Vine Hotels knows that choosing the right wedding menu, to suit the tastes and dietary needs of every wedding guest can be a challenge. With its venue requests for vegan options increasing by 30% this year, the hotel company has decided to ease the burden on couples by introducing dishes that can be enjoyed and shared by vegans and non-vegans alike.  Taking inspiration from around the world, the ingredients and choice of dishes allows couples to showcase the vegan cooking that is not only delicious food, but which will also appeal to the varied taste-buds of all your wedding guests.

Examples of the new menus include the DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park hotel’s selection of Butternut Soup with Crisp Sage and Apple Croutons; Avocado Panzanella, Crusty Ciabatta and Basil Leaf; and main courses featuring a Trio of Leeks with Confit new Potatoes and Truffle; Shallot and Thyme tart Tartan, Rocket and Pear salad; or Curried Coconut Quinoa and Greens.  For dessert, you can enjoy a Lemon Drizzle Cake with Raspberry Sorbet, or Stewed Apple, Carrot Cake Crumble.  £36.00 per guest for the 2018/ 2019 wedding season.

At the exclusive hire wedding venue, Whirlowbrook Hall in Sheffield, guests can enjoy starters that include Charred Watermelon, Mint & Chili Coconut Sorbet; Beetroot and Smoked Garlic Veloute and Crispy Shallot, or Heritage Tomatoes, Parmesan Crisps, Balsamic Gel, Basic Oil.  The main courses are an absolute culinary delight – Red Pepper and Spinach Lasagne, Saffron Roast Potatoes, Ruby Chard; Butternut Squash Risotto, Pureed, Roasted, Fried Sage, Chia Seeds, or Sausage & Mash’, Caramelised Onion Jus, Crispy Onions, Chives.  Then be spoilt for choice with dark Chocolate & Orange Cheesecake, Orange Gel and Chocolate Soil or a Dark Chocolate and Caramel Brownie, Hazelnut Praline, Raspberry.

£41.95 per person 2018/ 2019 wedding season and £44.05 per person for 2020.

There’s also a Vegan Street Food Menu to choose from for your evening buffet or a more casual wedding breakfast.  Couples can choose three dishes from the menu to offer to their guests, via a relaxed and informal style of serving: Chickpea Falafel, Paprika Cream, Flatbread; Mexican Fajita Kebabs, Soured Cream, Tortilla; Hand Cut Chips, Cheese, Spring Onion, Chives; Spiced Bean Burger, Brioche, American Mustard, Ketchup; ‘Hot Dogs’, Caramelised Onions, American Mustard, Ketchup or a Thai Noodle Broth, Pak Choi, Flaked Coconut.

£22.95 per person 2018/ 2019 wedding season and £24.10 per person for 2020.
