Before you get ahead of yourself, that’s not what we mean (you guys are pervs!). No, what we actually by the two minute date, is a fun and fast catch-up with your beau a lá Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother.
While it’s nice to think that we could enjoy every weekend strolling down the beach with our loved ones, truth is aint nobody got time for that (out dated pop culture reference, but you get the picture). So yeah, sometimes we’re super busy on our iPhones and working and going to a new class and meeting up with a friend and visiting our relatives and uuuugh…. It’s Sunday night already?
We need make time for our favourite loved ones when and where we can. So, to do that, here are some date night ideas that won’t cost much of your time and money.
Treat Them to Breakfast
Got a busy day ahead? Get up a little earlier than usual and pick up your beau’s favourite morning treat. Or, if they’re a morning person, drag them outta bed for that quick bite.
- Average Time: 15-20 mins
Lunch Date
If you’re lucky to work near each other, take advantage and meet up for your hour to half hour off. Don’t wanna wait in queues for food? Come prepared and brown bag it for a meet in the middle. Pick a scenic spot and enjoy your eats!
- Average Time: 30-60 mins
Bowling
Whether you need those little bumpers or your super competitive, bowling is quick, fun and easy. It won’t really matter who wins and you could even see who can do the funniest ‘grandma style bowl’.
- Average Time: 45-60 mins
Or you could actually pull a Ted…. Best. Date. Ever!
