How to Deal: Awkward Wedding Moments

The ex is a guest or in your bridal party

Although inviting an ex is never a great idea, they may be someone that your family/friends are connected to still. If everyone gets along, there is no need to acknowledge it. Smile, say hello, thank them for coming.. That’s all you have to do!

Someone has too much to drink

Everyone has an aunt, uncle, friend or sibling that can get out of hand. Don’t feel like you need to babysit anyone, it’s not your job! If they’re not that close and you feel like they might make scene, just don’t invite them. Harsh, but fair!

You’re Invited but your friend isn’t

Yes, it’s definitely exciting to learn you’re going to a friend’s wedding! But that excitement could be shattered when you find out a friend isn’t invited too. The best thing to do in this situation is always to stay out of it. Don’t get roped into finding out why your other friend hasn’t be invited… It’s not your business! And, do you really want to get stuck in the middle of an argument?
