One of the North East’s leading wedding venues, Eshott Hall is a quintessentially pretty, Georgian country house, featuring its own Ballroom and Chapel a short stroll away. Located in magical gardens and surrounded by ancient woodlands, there are outdoor ceremony options here too.
Due to its bijoux size, each wedding enjoys exclusive use of this charming country house venue. Often venues charge a substantial premium for the privilege of having the whole hotel enjoyed solely by the wedding party. This is not the case at Eshott Hall, and indeed the venue has an exceptional rate of just £2020, to welcome in the New Year, including the whole house along with guest accommodation in the hotel’s 17 bedrooms and suites, on a bed and breakfast basis.
What’s more on New Year’s Eve itself (31 December 2019) this special rate is available for those wanting to welcome in 2020 as newly-weds. This offer is available on new bookings up to and including 31st March, 2020.
Friendly and welcoming, elegant features of the venue that you will adore include a cantilever sweeping staircase, with William Morris-styled stained-glass window; beautiful, light-filled tiled entrance hall; sumptuous, cream-coloured sitting room with crystal chandeliers and an ornate fireplace housing an open fire, a snug ‘Library’ bar area, two beautifully-appointed restaurants and The Ballroom. Full of natural light, The Ballroom is a magnificent space for your reception – with French windows onto the gardens, and ornate gilt mirrors and its own private bar, which accommodates up to 120 guests (evening reception and 100 for day).
Some bedrooms feature four-poster bed and roll top baths for a romantic first night and guests are spoilt for choice with a selection of bedrooms and suites in the main Hall, as well as The Shooting Lodge, only a stroll away from the main event.
With a two AA rosette rating in the restaurant, a choice of wedding menus has been lovingly created, with style and taste in mind, and featuring locally-sourced produce.
Conveniently located within minutes of the A1, between Alnwick and Morpeth, and only fifteen minutes from the Northumbrian coast, this venue is perfectly located for easy access for guests North and South of the border.
