The National Wedding Show

From the veil to the heels of your perfect wedding shoes, flower arrangements to the type of vehicle which escorts you on that special day, The National Wedding Show in Birmingham Friday 27th February – Sunday 1st March will enchant you with overwhelming possibilities. If you are planning to enjoy this festival, we can easily get the train from London to Birmingham and have an amazing experience. So now, take time to review the following tips.

This show is massive, so be prepared to spend the whole day there. If you can’t, be sure to at least arrive earlier in the day to avoid queues and see all of the awe-inspiring shows. Which include the National Wedding Show Catwalk – upon which models wearing the latest trend pieces in wedding fashion as well as make-up and popular hairstyles. The catwalk is not only for bride and groom styles, but all members of the wedding party – so you might want to bring your friends and family to let them in on the fun. Important to mention here is that children aged 5 years and under may attend free!

Given the size of the show and the amount of time you’ll be on your feet, don’t forget to consider what you’ll be carrying with you and wearing yourself while attending. You’ll want to wear proper footwear as you can expect to be on your feet a lot. In addition, if you plan to try on wedding dresses, wear clothing that’s easy to change in and out of.  Finally you don’t want to carry a lot with you the whole day, as  you will surely acquire quite a few brochures and free goodies throughout the day.

If you do get tired from carrying all that stuff, showing up early to the live events will be sure to get you a nice seat where you can relax while being entertained by experts giving you wedding advice from A-Z in a television show format in the show’s “Wedding Theatre”. Of course you can also take a load of your feet in the specially decorated champagne bar.

Another tip to make sure you’re not running yourself ragged is to organise your trip by checking the schedule of shows ahead of time and giving yourself plenty of time to see everything you want. You can already find the schedule under: http://www.nationalweddingshow.co.uk/bridal-catwalk/ and http://www.nationalweddingshow.co.uk/wedding-theatre/

And, as a matter of course, you’ll also want to check over the show’s whole website to get an idea of what you can expect to find and what you’ll absolutely not want to miss. There you can also watch a number of videos which show what different exhibitors have to offer. In case your worried about what to wear to the show as a visitor, you can check out what people are wearing in these videos too. While the exhibitors may be dressed quite fancily, you can see that the majority of visitors are wearing rather casual attire. So again don’t worry about wearing something easy to change – it takes long enough to put on a wedding dress! By the way don’t forget your camera, so you can take snapshots of yourself in case you can’t decide right on the spot.

One last tip you’re sure to love: using the promotion code “CONFETTI”, you can get 25% off tickets. So don’t hesitate to start planning your visit today. With over 250 exhibitors, you’ll be sure to find everything you need to make your wedding day unforgettable.
