Top Tips for Getting Ready for Your Wedding

Getting ready for your wedding can be a stressful time. With in-laws, bridesmaids, make up and photographers, the day can get a little hectic! Rather than stressing while getting ready, read these tips on preparing for your big day.

Choose your bridal party wisely! It may seem like a lot of fun to have all of your bridal party at your house the morning of – it might also be a little distracting. Instead, keep people around who you know can help you to keep calm.

Have your ‘Bridal Emergency Kit’ packed and ready to go. Bring it with you to your reception and ask can you leave it in the ladies room.

Eat something! It’s going to be a long and busy day and there may not be another chance to eat until your reception. If you’ve seen the episode of How I Met Your Mother when Marshall and Lilly get married you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about!

On that note, be careful on how much morning alcohol you get in your system. Again, it’s a long day and there will plenty of time for it later on in the evening!
Get the run down of you day organised with your photographer. Give them a beauty timeline and ideas on what you would like to have shot if they are going to be present in the morning. Generally, they will shoot the bride’s party first, followed by the groom so talk through the run down to get your timeline just right.
