the big day. We also were invited to taste wine. We were not disappointed on the day the food was excellent and brilliantly served by the team.
From the word go Angela, the wedding organiser, was extremely helpful. We confirmed 6 months ahead and we were lead through what we needed to think about- music, games, numbers, table layout, flowers etc. We had plenty of time to change our minds and deadlines were highlighted well in advance. We were lucky for mid September that the weather was brilliant but I am sure it would have been great anyhow. We had the ceremony at the Bingham as well so the whole day was there. Everyone was so helpful and guided us through our special day. I would genuinely not have changed anything. It surpassed all expectations and will always be with us. It may not be the cheapest option but you definitely get value for money and support from the word go.

the day before our wedding we were told they were here to exceed our expectations and that they did! The morning of the wedding my bridesmaids and I went down to check if everything was set up and they had honestly done everything not one thing was left for us to do, so we got to go back up to our room which had the most amazing view for a relaxed morning with breakfast in bed! The staff kept everyone’s drinks topped up throughout the reception, and the canapés were delicious which were all enjoyed on the heated & covered terrace looking out over the Thames. The master of ceremony’s was great he kept us informed about everything throughout the day giving us a heads up on timings for speeches, first dance etc leaving us to enjoy the day without having to think about anything. Then there was the meal which so many of our guests have said was the BEST wedding food they have every had, and even the BEST beef they have ever eaten! We had guests that are chefs, there were guests that have eaten all over the world and guests that have eaten in some of the best restaurants In London so that was so amazing to hear! The beef melted in your mouth, and the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world! We had bacon sandwiches later in the evening which were always going to be a winner! At the end of the night the staff let us know where everything would be in the morning (which they packed away into the boxes we delivered everything in), we said goodbye to our guests and headed up to our room which the Bingham had covered in rose petals, lit candles & delivered all of our presents. Waking up as husband and wife in such a comfy bed in a beautiful room, we felt truly relaxed and enjoyed breakfast in bed looking over the Thames. We were overwhelmed they literally thought about everything! Best day ever :) A huge thank you to everyone at the Bingham for exceeding our expectations which were already extremely high!

the day, the service was flawless and all the staff were very helpful and professional. The food in particular was amazing, and on the day we didn’t have to worry about anything as everything went 100% smoothly. It is a beautiful venue, both the outside space overlooking the river and the inside.

We could not have been happier with the venue and the service. Our families stayed with us on the night before and the night of the wedding. All of the staff were just fabulous and made both ourselves and our families feel so welcome. No one wanted to leave come Sunday.

The food was all absolutely delicious and was perfect for the time of year. The canapés were a great start to everything especially as we had a perfect winter day and everyone could enjoy being on the terrace after the ceremony.

Our guests have said how fabulous the set up was and we could not agree more!

Our photos are great and highlight what a beautiful hotel it is, with the sunshine it almost looks like summer!

didn’t deliver the cake, she managed to get hold of 3 cakes in different sizes and save the day! Everyone thought that was the new minimalistic trend!

decisions or provide information; they offered advice, options for suppliers (e.g. for flowers), and were always incredibly helpful. We visited the hotel a few times to try menu options, wines, to discuss details, and to allow us to talk through our preferences. They were able to accommodate most of our completely unreasonable requests, allowing us to shape the day and the use of the many rooms and levels of the hotel. We were able to include an acoustic group, a magician, a disco and our own choices of decorations. Where we wanted something a little out-of-the-ordinary they always came up with an approach with which we were very pleased.
The day went brilliantly!! The hotel proved to be everything we'd hoped for. The MC and the entire team were totally committed to making our day successful. The food was stunning, the whole hotel was immaculate, and each individual member of staff was totally focused on making the event a success. The mood was totally relaxed and stress-free, with any hitch being dealt without by the team without any fuss whatsoever. Even the slightly tipsy guests were looked after right through to the early hours of the following day.
We cannot recommend the Bingham highly enough. We go occasionally go back there for a meal or a drink and we are always greeted in the same very friendly way. It feels like we are part of a "Bingham family" and it's a lovely feeling. We put our trust in them and they delivered perfectly.

how we had envisaged.

The staff's service is exceptional and nothing was too much bother. It is such a beautiful and romantic setting. The food was delicious and lots of guests said it was the best wedding food they had tasted. Even our food tasting was incredible, the way we were treated by staff and the attention we were given was like nothing we've ever experienced. All of the staff knew who we were and when our wedding was! It is a truly special place and i am so glad we chose to have our wedding there as we were not disappointed in any aspect of the organisation or wedding day. We felt so sad leaving the day after and honestly cannot wait to go back!

same quality as the version we had tried months earlier at the menu tasting! For main we had beef with a mushroom pithivier and mash (essentially a deconstructed Beef Wellington) - again this was faultless; the beef was cooked perfectly, melting in the mouth, the mash was smooth and creamy and the mushroom pithivier was full of flavour. Dessert was a chocolate marquise (a thick mousse) which was exceptionally rich yet light. All in all, the food was delicious from beginning to end and the service was of an equally high quality. All of our guests commented on it.

The staff were also fantastic on the day - they made the venue look sensational and they kept everything running exactly how we had discussed. Nikhil, in particular, was a wonderful MC and host, his attentiveness meant that we didn’t need to think about anything. Chloe, our designated wedding coordinator, was also brilliant.

smoothly. The communication leading up to the wedding was fantastic and Chloe was wonderful as an Event Manager, she made my life so much easier and I truly can’t thank her enough.
All our guests commented on how amazing the food was and when we went for the food tasting, all the staff ensured we were taken care of and made to feel like this was a special and exciting time.
We were in the bar until around 5am after the wedding and again, we were taken care of, even though I am sure we were loud and annoying!

went to plan and everyone helped to make the day a memorable one. All the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. They were preemptive and reactive without ever being pushy. Always smiling and cheerful and it seemed, genuinely happy to witness our joy.
The lunch was absolute perfection. The food, which was excellent and beautifully presented, was thoroughly enjoyed by all from start to finish. Thanks to everyone involved, we had the very best of everything, which gave us a very special day, which we will always treasure.

wedding planner included in the cost of our venue. They understood exactly what we wanted and arranged all the decorations on the day and there was a lot to do with over 140 candles to set up and light!!

We also had a problem with the registrar on the day and timings of our ceremony and Chloe took all of this on, leaving me to get ready in peace and calm whilst she dealt with the discrepancy. Asides from the staff leading up to and on the day of our wedding, the location of The Bingham is exquisite, rain or shine it is the perfect venue with the canopies outside and the fact that you can have confetti indoors over the spiral staircase. The food was exceptional, how Chef can pull off that standard for 51 covers is exceptional, the standard did not falter from our tasting and this really is an achievement.

I highly recommend The Bingham for weddings and will certainly be calling upon them again for other events in the future, we really could not have asked for anything more.

Thames was amazing and allowed us to have the al fresco wedding we dreamed off, whilst also being ideally located on the doorstep of Richmond Park that is so special to us.

Whilst we were planning the big day, there was nothing they couldn't do for us, from designing and perfectly executing a Spanish menu (which the chef have never attempted before but did with gusto!!) to being patient with all the little details that you inevitably fuss about.

On the day itself, all the staff were amazing, with everyone commenting how well the day was run and how smoothly everything went. We would highly recommend the Bingham to anyone looking for a wedding venue or for any other special occasion. We just want to do it all over again and are looking forward to visiting again soon.

in their approach which allowed us to have input to our special day which worked well. We particularly enjoyed the open day where we could meet suppliers and see how the venue could look in advance of the wedding day itself.
The list of suppliers for cake, balloons, florist and hair/makeup were excellent. We especially valued the feedback and expertise given by Kat the florist and Lucy who did hair and makeup.

venue, and even though it's not the biggest there are still distinctly different areas, from the garden rooms where the ceremony and evening entertainment was to the outside canopy, gardens and outstanding bar upstairs for a quieter spot.

I have to pull out the food for particular praise, oh my lord god it was the best meal I've ever had - we had all our guests tell us how amazing it was, and all options were phenomenal, whether for meat eaters, veges, gluten free, allergies, you name it we had one!

on the terrace again where more Champagne and canapés were served while the room was reset for the wedding breakfast. This all flowed faultlessly overseen by the excellent Alex and his trusty waiters. All the waiters were excellent and showed great attention to detail and responded quickly to all requests. The breakfast was perfect. Again, the service was efficient and discreet with regular updates on next steps. The food was of the highest quality complemented perfectly by good quality wines. There is a bar in the room for those wanting drinks other than Champagne and wine and that also worked perfectly. Overall, it was a faultless performance in a perfect setting.

hotel having the most stunning location on the River at Richmond upon Thames, the hotel staff and particularly Amy Braund, the events and sales manager, were so accommodating and professional throughout the planning and on the day itself. No request was to big or too small and Amy and the Bingham staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. We also enjoyed exquisite food thanks to the chef and his team. In my husbands and my view the food was exceptional. We also received many comments from our guests about the excellent food and service.The hotel private Garden room, gardens and terrace where our daughters wedding reception was held had fantastic views across the Thames. We enjoyed having drinks on the terrace, ice creams and hog roast in evening in the garden. Such an amazing day.Thanks so much to all who helped with our wedding. The food was amazing - many said it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten - each plate was restaurant standard and truly delicious. We hired a singer from Sound Generation (recommended by the Bingham) - she was called Laura and she was incredible - had everyone up and dancing and in awe of her great talent! The hotel's recommended suppliers were excellent (florist, beautician, photographer & music suppliers). superb. Every detail was thought of, we were always made to feel special, and I totally trusted her - which made a huge difference in the run up to the day.

On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork. Amy was waiting for us with bubbly when we arrived, the sun shone (I wouldn't be surprised if she'd arranged that too!), and every detail was attended to as canapés and drinks were served on the lawns. The wedding breakfast was absolutely amazing (our guests are still telling us how good it was), and nothing was too much trouble as the sun set and we danced into the evening.

although she was brilliant too). A boutique townhouse, the hotel has a modern and stylish but cosy vibe with a fabulous terrace and gardens, and gorgeous views of the Thames.

Six months (and several visits, a delicious menu tasting and countless emails and phonecalls) later, we held our wedding reception here on a beautifully crisp winter’s day in December. Decorated for Christmas with huge pine cones, festive holly and fairylights twinkling outside, the hotel looked magical. Our guests all commented on what a fantastic wedding and venue it was, and how much they enjoyed the delicious food and drink. We couldn’t have asked for more from the incredible team at The Bingham – from the talented chef and all of the waiting staff, to Rish, who helped ensure the day went smoothly, and of course Amy, who was always cheerful no matter how many emails I sent her, and who went out of her way to ensure that everything was just perfect for us. We later went on a recce to the Bingham for lunch and I have to say it was it was brilliant, which told us we'd made the right choice.

Amy, and Chloe, continued to be really helpful and responsive up to the 'small' big day when everything couldn't have gone better. The staff were always on hand but not overly attentive. They knew what we could do ourselves but still kept an eye on things. Because of this I think people really did genuinely enjoy a very relaxed day. It felt special without any fuss. The only noticeable silence was when the food arrived - it was so good that everyone just ate and nodded agreeably. There was no differing opinion on how nice it was. The Bingham also has a really nice riverside garden too so there's plenty of opportunity for a drink and preamble before your meal.

We stayed at the hotel that night and the room was set up really nicely, with petals everywhere and a congratulatory plate of sweet things. The morning and evening views of the Thames make it quite special, especially if you know it well. The building is very characterful too with the front noticeably more 'uphill' than the back.

So we'd like to say thank you to Amy and Chloe for setting up a great day for us and I'd highly recommend this hotel for both dining and events.

Thames is gorgeous, the gardens beautifully kept, the staff, especially the Maitre'D, somehow remembers what wine I like each time I come, the waiting staff are so warm and friendly (particularly Alex who was so kind), but also knowledgeable, unstuffy, cool and professional. Our gorgeous wedding planners, Amy and Chloe just couldn't do enough for us, from the first friendly enquiry about wedding packages, to the final, wonderful day a few weeks ago: the hand-picked menu, the organisation of all the wedding paraphernalia (and there was so much!), the attention to detail and the supremely charming Nikhil (our wedding MC), all was simply perfect. All of our guests were thrilled, our rooms beautifully kept and the rest of the hotel staff were really helpful and attentive. They even made the sunshine all day long. Thank you, wonderful Bingham.

Since we booked, we can honestly say the staff have done everything in their power to make the whole experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. We were always made to feel welcome when visiting the venue and any time we had questions or queries, Amy, the lovely and helpful wedding co-ordinator, would respond to our emails and phone calls within hours, if not minutes. On the day itself, the staff were extremely helpful and eager to please.
Aside from the excellent customer service, the food and drink at The Bingham is of the highest standard and we received lots of compliments on the day regarding the menu and wine. We greatly enjoyed our complimentary menu tasting, and we were given as much advice as we needed to match the wine to the food.
All in all, we could not recommend The Bingham highly enough as a wedding venue

was excellent. We had the Scallop Risotto to start, Beef for main and Sticky toffee pudding for desert. All courses were cooked to perfection and all 90+ guests really enjoyed it

We used all 15 bedrooms in the hotel for our familes, and the rooms were as you would expect for a boutique hotel; clean, well presented and slightly quirky.

I would definitely recommend this as a hotel and as a wedding venue

We stayed the night before and had the most delicious and wonderful 5 Star meal and were spoilt by little congratulations extras for the forthcoming day ahead. A year on the day arrived and so did the rain and weather warnings the whole outdoor garden party went out the window. This did not faze Nicholas , Amy and Rish who were all out there putting gazebos up with many other members of staff to ensure we could still arrive at the start of proceedings on the terrace to great our guests. Nothing was too much and they ensured that although all the plans went out the window the best day was had by all and still incorporated as many of our ideas for the day as possible. Not only did the Bingham, do a brilliant wedding they also ensured that the brides birthday on the same day did not get forgotten and did little extras to mark this. I can't thank the Bingham enough and will certainly be back for dinner , drinks, lunch or any reason I can think of.

was dealt with promptly and with courtesy; nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Rish's calm presence meant that any worries or nerves simply dissipated. The wedding breakfast was delicious with all dietary requirements and children catered for. The venue is stunning and the bridal suite supremely comfortable. A delightful touch was petals strewn around the room and candlelight on the wedding night - a truly romantic touch. We are in our 60s and were made to feel like young newly weds! Our guests loved every minute of the wedding, as did we. The service was excellent both during drinks and canapés pre wedding breakfast and during the meal, with attention being paid to guests' needs in an efficient and unobtrusive way. I cannot recommend this venue for a wedding highly enough; it is truly a very special hotel with very special staff. My son and I had dinner in the hotel the night before the wedding and were equally well looked after. A wonderful day to remember. Thank you Bingham!

drinks to dinner and the service and food has been impeccable. For our wedding we wanted a late afternoon ceremony followed by a bbq and band, nothing was a problem for Amy and her team. I work in events and so understand what goes into organising a big event and the Bingham made it look easy. Nothing was too much trouble, the bbq was sensational and the wines and drinks were superb. Everyone was amazed at the amount of food and how exceptional it tasted along with the ambience and sensational views.

The venue is simply gorgeous, but you need great food and drink as well as sensational staff to make an event one to remember and that's exactly what they did.

their way to meet our wishes and make the wedding planning and the day itself as enjoyable and as stress free as possible. The food served on the day was even better than the excellent food served to us during the tasting. The staff were very attentive and efficient (despite the presence of a few toddlers). We can't thank the Bingham enough for having made our day such a great one and we would highly recommend them as a wedding venue.

needn't have been. WOW! I have now met Amazing Amy. Nothing was too much trouble, Amy was always calm, focussed and had everything under control. We were on the same page!

She also cared and always had time to disucss options or provide details or honest reviews on products and services, canapes and wine choices.

On the day, we couldn't have been looked after better, not only by Amy but by the resturant manager, General Manager Erick and all of the venue's dedicated staff.

The Bingham is a beautiful hotel, but was makes it extra special and first class are the staff, they definitely make the Bingham what it is.

care of everything. The food was amazing, I couldnt think of a better venue in London to get married.

If you are considering a London Wedding, give Amy at the Bingham a call - highly recommended.
