The Team Very understanding when I had sickness on the day. The staff went above and beyond despite obstacles and offering dried toast. Despite not feeling my best I still had the most amazing day. Not forgetting Marcus our go to guy for the day! Nothing was too much trouble, he was there at the times we needed him before we even knew we did.
Both Jake and Marcus were professional but more importantly to us friendly! We couldn’t of ask for better!
Enough of singing there praises a massive thank you to everyone behind the scenes we know there was lots of people helping and involved and without them our day would have been much different.
The food for our sit down meal was lovely and all the guest commented on how after such a nice meal the standards were then raised by a fantastic hot and cold buffet for the evening reception.
The hotel itself was clean and tidy, spacious and relaxed. The grounds for our wedding photos were beautifully maintained and we had lots of places to get some fantastic shots.
Check in and check out was mainly smooth and pleasant and the desk staff were polite and helpful.

Again a huge thank you to you all!

We had our wedding, it was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The wedding planner, Jake, worked with us in the months leading up to the wedding and was so kind and creative. We had a Disney themed wedding and he was brilliant at coming up with fun ideas to …

add even more Disney magic to our day. He was endlessly enthusiastic and was completely committed to making our day perfect and utterly personal to us. And he was so lovely to work with. We really liked him the second we met him.
On the morning of the wedding, Jake got in really early and made sure the room looked perfect for us. From blowing up balloons to retying all our chair sashes to make them look like Minnie Mouse bows, nothing was too much trouble.
Marcus was in charge of making sure the day ran smoothly and he was so lovely and hard working. He made all the announcements and made sure everything was perfect. He was so kind and helpful and helped make our day the relaxed, chilled out day we wanted it to be. He was brilliant and left nothing for us to do or worry about.
They all worked so hard to make our day perfect and we can't praise them enough.
The hotel was a lovely setting and the ceremony and reception room looked beautiful. There's really pretty woodland around the hotel that looks stunning in the photos and the fairy lights in the ceremony room looked magical.
The food was fantastic and looked really well presented. Better still, it tasted incredible and the portion sizes were really generous, both for the main meal and the evening buffet. We had a few guests with very specific dietary requirements and they were really accommodating and made sure everyone got exactly what food they could eat so we didn't need to worry.
We were given the bridal suite for the night and the room was lovely.
Our wedding package was fantastic value for money too. I can't recommend the DoubleTree Hilton hotel in Southampton enough.
