Nestled in the stunning Yorkshire Dales you will find Grantley Hall, a beautiful 5* Country House Hotel, offering an unrivalled setting for the most magical and luxurious weddings. Their highly experienced Wedding Team look forward to planning each moment of your celebration so that you can enjoy the journey from the moment you enquire.

 

As you arrive through the main gates, you will feel a warm welcome from our concierge team, before following the meandering driveway that hugs the river Skell, up to the Main Hall, where the fabulous front office team will greet you and your guests.

 

For your ceremony, there are a number of immaculate settings to choose from.

The ornate Music Room, located within the Main Hall boasts decedent original features of a bygone era, high ceilings, a neutral colour palette and ample natural daylight, seating up to 100 guests.

You can also take in the impeccable gardens with an outdoor ceremony on our formal front garden or west lawn. Both with incredible views over the manicured lawns and established gardens.

Following your ceremony, you will move through into The Orchard for Champagne and canapés, where you can enjoy views over the west lawn, spilling out into the garden.

 

Your wedding breakfast will be served in the Grantley Suite, adorned with a contemporary and striking chandelier and curated soft lighting. Menus have been designed by their team of expert chefs, using only the best seasonal ingredients. They focus on produce from the beautiful county of Yorkshire and serve alongside a wine menu recommended by their in-house Sommelier.

 

Excitingly, following your wedding breakfast, you will have use of Valeria’s Champagne and Cocktail bar, for your “after-party” continuing into the small hours, before retiring to the hotel’s exquisite rooms & suites.

 

A multi-award-winning hotel, with accolades such as Five Red Stars AA inspectors choice award, 2022 Michelin Star and very proud members of the coveted Relais & Chateaux luxury hotels.

Our wedding planner Kate was absolutely amazing throughout. She made the planning process as stress free as possible (even planning during a pandemic), always responding promptly and with great attention to detail. She went the extra mile for us wherever she could, which was much appreciated.

The wedding breakfast was delicious and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble.

The little details and extra touches set really Grantley Hall apart and made the experience so special for us.

Grantley Hall has such a special place in our hearts that my Husband and I plan on returning every year for our anniversary and we can’t wait to return soon!

lot of stress. This stress instantly melted away, when we saw the attention to detail and professionalism of the staff. The amazing pastry chef even saved our wedding cake, after it got damaged in transport!

The venue itself is stunning, we have so many beautiful photos from the day. There were so many compliments about the food, and the evening snacks were a great touch. Finishing the day in Valeria’s was the best possible end to our wedding! Everyone was dancing until the last possible second.

I would recommend Grantley Hall to anyone. It was the perfect day from start to finish, and we look forward to coming back for all of our special occasions in the future!

Although we had a small wedding, it felt like we were the only guests at the hotel, which was just what we wanted!

Barely any decoration was needed from an outside party as the hotel decor speaks for itself.
The Royal Suite was the most perfect bridal suite as it had so much room for everyone to get ready in. It was great to be able to take a few moments to yourself on the upper floor to take on such a special day.

Speaking of wedding packages, Grantley stood out to us against other venues with the level of items included, even down to little things such as stationery, candles & holders, table numbers or names, letterboxes etc.

There were a few key people that really helped make our dream a reality;

Kate, our lovely wedding coordinator helped us pull together the perfect day. Kate works incredibly hard, with the utmost attention to detail, making sure your day is planned meticulously. She is very friendly and responds to the thousands (literally!) of communications promptly, no matter what the query. Even down to personalising and printing notes to go in our guest's room, Kate went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect.

We first met Emily, our Master of Ceremony, at the menu tasting. Not only being a delight to work with, but Emily also ensured every detail was captured to make our day incredibly special. It is inevitable that there can be bumps on the day - Emily and the team worked around us to ensure these had minimal disruption with quick solutions whilst still being very attentive to all guests.

Finally, Lucy, the chef helped us create the perfect menu, suited to our exact taste but also met the requirements of our guests. The quality of our wedding breakfast was exceptional - Lucy and her team are very talented with the ability to deliver such high standard and delicious food to so many guests.

If you are looking for a breath-taking venue, where staff go above and beyond for you and your guests, we would highly recommend Grantley Hall!
