we were all set to start our planning! First meeting we were so nervous but with Sianne by our side we knew we would be just fine. She helped us in all that we needed to know step by step. All our meetings we had with Sianne were so lovely, we made a friend for life! Can not thank her enough for all that she did. Every phone call, email, visit, nothing was ever too much to ask. Ian our master of ceremony he was great went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The day had finally came on the morning myself (bride) went for a sneak peek of the room, I couldn't believe my eyes so beautiful, everything we had planned and more. All through our wedding was beautiful couldn't have asked for a better place to be married. Staff are so friendly the grounds are always kept clean and the food was nice. All our guests made great comments on how nice Ian was and how beautiful the room was!
Wish I could do it all over again thank u to all the staff at holiday inn.

done step by step as me and my husband had no idea where to start planning a wedding. She was so amazing working round our schedules as we work long and opposite hours to each other. We are always welcomed by every staff member and offered tea or coffee when we sat down, nothing was ever too much. She was always available and I knew that if I sent her an email I would get a response quickly which makes everything one thousand times easier when you're trying to get organised. She typed out our meetings perfectly and sent us a copy through the post after a couple of days of meeting with us. She worked with us when I wanted to stay in the hotel the night before and even swapped our rooms a few days before to a room which suited us better for what we needed.

The venue was so warm and clean and decorated amazingly for our wedding and the staff who took charge of this asked our opinion before allowing guests back into the room. It was perfect but if I had wanted to change anything, it would not have been a problem. We had a few last minute cancellations as well and Chris, our master of ceremony, just made it seem so simple to cancel meals and rearrange the seating plan as people were sitting down to eat. The food was divine. I was so impressed with the effort and the presentation of each of our courses as well as the buffet and sweetie cart in the evening.

They literally took care of everything. It was affordable and well worth every penny and more. I honestly can't put into words how much every member of staff made a difference in our wedding day. I can't recommend the service, the staff or the hotel enough.

thought of everything, and worked very hard throughout making sure things were organised - especially as we were communicating long distance so set up phone meetings as well as in person.

All in all, we'd thoroughly recommend Holiday Inn Washington for your personalised wedding day!

who was our wedding co-ordinator, she was amazing throughout the whole time. On our wedding day, the rooms were all beautiful and the environment for the whole day was calm and relaxed. The food was delicious and the Staff were on hand during the day when they were needed, nothing was a bother for them. Our wishes were respected and our wedding was just perfect! Also, the grounds our photos were taken on were beautiful. We have so many photos which are stunning due to the lovely scenery. I would happily recommend holiday inn to anyone who is getting married.

buffet breakfast inclusive of cost for room at a reduced rate on wedding booking. The room was set out beautiful for the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening reception. The staff was always on hand and looked after us extremely well, especially Natalie who looked after us from start to finish on the day. The wedding breakfast was absolutely beautiful, the food was top quality and was cooked and presented to such a high standard. I was unable to eat the evening Buffett due to having surgery so the chef made me a separate meal. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely day. It was a truly magical day I just wish we could do it all again. Thanks again to Sianne and all the team at the Holiday inn Washington for a weekend of memories we'll cherish forever.

we weren't really sure what we wanted, nothing was too much trouble to her even though we changed our minds at every meeting.
We decided on afternoon tea which was served on tea stands and shabby chic crockery which the hotel provided, as the wedding was late afternoon. We had a buffet early evening, then hot beef sandwiches late evening, all the food was top quality and plenty of it.
We had the use of 2 rooms on the day and the setups were excellent, the attention to detail was amazing. The grounds of the hotel looked stunning which showed in our photographs.
On the day everyone starting from the reception staff, the wedding planner, the master of ceremony, the waiters/ waitresses, bar staff (day & night) the hotel DJ and the Hotel General Manager ensured everything was perfect and exactly what we required.
A lot of our guests also stayed at the hotel overnight and were thoroughly impressed with the standard of the rooms and the service they received. Highly recommended.

wedding. Thankfully he did but last-minute tweaks were needed to the wedding. This was sorted and I cannot thank everyone enough for their help. Even the cleaning staff who made up our disabled room made it as special as possible. They truly made our day magical.

coordinator Sianne was amazing I always thought a wedding coordinator would be pushy but that wasn’t the case having Sianne help us organise our wedding took away so much stress, nothing was too much bother for her she always had a smile on her face helping us get excited for our special day and made us both feel at so much ease.
The day was magical decor was fabulous and staff helped create an amazing atmosphere, We are both so pleased we had our venue where we did, wouldn’t change a thing.

our afternoon and evening reception. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had a lot of guests who stayed over at the hotel before and after the wedding and the rooms were excellent and very clean and breakfast again was exceptional. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Thanks again to Sianne and everyone else at the holiday inn for making our special day so memorable and enjoyable.

for the old 3 course menu with vegetable soup, chicken dinner and sweet and it was brought in hot. We did have a slight problem with the potatoes not been cooked enough with the dinner but everything else was spot on. The Master of ceremonies organised everything from playing piped music while we were eating to announcing the speeches and when the champagne was to be served. The room was decorated to our taste and everyone had a good time. After the meal we were lead out into the reception area which doubled as a bar for our guests and later we were entered the breakfast room which would accommodate the 180 guests we had invited. We paid for extras on the spread and it looked more than enough buffet with pizza slices and sandwiches and pekoras and chips. The DJ was in The cost and we found him OK but our long list of songs we gave him was ignored mostly. That did not deter from a good night and later we had booked our own singer which just made our night. The dance floor was quite small at on 12 ft square but we were told it could be doubled if we wished. we opted for the small to accommodate all our guests. Our guest were offered rooms at a reduced rate and on whole it seemed to go well. Some of them did find there booking went astray or were asked to pay again but nothing is perfect. We were well pleased of how the day went and would like to thank everyone involved from the wedding co-ordinater to the master of ceremonies who just got everything right.
