The hotel is stunning. It’s beautifully decorated throughout with a quirky vibe. Every part of the hotel lends itself to a great backdrop for photo opportunities. We used The Assembly Room for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. What I loved about this room is that it is big, bright, and beautiful, but so adaptable to any colour scheme and design.

As we got married out of peak season we were able to set up the venue the evening before for our ceremony, which took a lot of stress out of our day. It looked stunning. Exactly as I envisaged. The staff did a wonderful job of turning this room around for the wedding breakfast, and Daisy called us in to check everything was as we wanted before our guests entered. It was perfect.

During the turnaround between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast, we were lucky enough to enjoy photos and canapé on the beautiful terrace, even in February! We used the recommended suppliers for styling, entertainment, makeup, photography, and DJ. They were all amazing. They know the hotel so well and they know what works best in the venue.

The evening was in the gorgeous Vaulted Cellar. Worth every penny! It was such a party vibe and the dance floor was never empty! It worked so well for our day guests having a change of scenery for the evening, I feel it added to making the day extra special.

What was so amazing for us having our wedding at Kings Head Hotel, was that we didn’t just have a wedding day, we had a wedding weekend. We stayed the night before and the night after the wedding and each day was wonderful. The groom's suite the evening before the wedding was perfect, so close to the Assembly room, and the Bridal suite was stunning. We used the Spa the day after the wedding and wow, what a way to spend your first day married!

How have I not mentioned the food already?! It was amazing. We had private dining in the evening before the wedding in the wine cellar. It was an amazing space to have dinner with our families. There are many options for food on the day and we chose the Casual Dining Package. What an absolute feast that was! It was just as great as it was when we tried it on our tasting menu.

There is a wide range of breakfast options at the brilliant hotel. We had private dining again for breakfast with guests who had also stayed over, which was a wonderful way to share our memories from the day before.

You are in great hands with Daisy at Kings Head. She is great at communicating, which is a huge help when planning your day. Everything ran smoothly on the day and her lovely nature made for a stress-free morning I was able to enjoy getting ready in the stunning bridal suite.

You won’t be disappointed picking this venue, we had the most perfect day and cannot wait to go back and visit the venue that gave us such happy memories!

The Vaulted Cellar is the most incredible room for a party! Everyone has been saying Kings Head Hotel is amazing and how they love the characteristics within!

the place. The Assembly room is so elegant and was everything we were looking for.
Daisy helped us with our planning throughout. We had 70 of our loved ones join us for the day and evening and we decided to choose the casual dining menu for our wedding breakfast which was so much fun! We had sharing joints of meat at each table which were carved by our guests who were our own Chefs wearing hats and aprons - all of our guests really enjoyed this. We also added beer bundles and mini Prosecco bundles for our guests as wedding favours, this went down very well with all of our friends and family.
I also stayed the night before and had a pre-wedding dinner with my bridesmaids in MBB Brasserie which is one of the hotel's restaurants, it was delicious and I was made to feel so special by all of the team who were so friendly.

family, along with our doggy Simba!

It was a very intimate ceremony held in the Panel Room with just 18 of us and of course our dog Simba. We then had Champagne and Canapes on the terrace, canapes were simply amazing.

The best part for us was the dinner in the Wine Cellar, such a cosy and quirky space which felt very private yet not totally away from the main hotel ambiance. They added a cheeky little palette cleanser to our meal which came after the starters and this was divine... a Lemon sorbet topped with Tequila, it went down a real treat.

Didn't want a wedding cake as we knew the desserts within our 3 courses would sort everyone's sweet tooth out so we went for a rather elaborate Champagne Tower, amazing and rather Boujee!!

Daisy, the Wedding Planner was incredible from start to finish, she was so warm, genuine and a good laugh!!

able to use our own suppliers which not every venue allows. We opted to have our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the Assembly Room, which has a nice elegant wedding feel. We were a little nervous that the bar space outside of the Assembly Room would be a little crowded during the drinks reception, but for our numbers (50-60) it was ideal. We were also lucky enough with the weather to be able to use the terrace area, and this was a great additional space for photographs. The canapes were delicious and certainly kept everyone going until dinner. We were especially impressed with the mini Yorkshire puddings! It was a nice touch to come back from photographs to find a server waiting for us with a tray of two of each canape, as we were worried we wouldn't get time to try any. The meal itself was delicious (as we expected from the menu tasting), and we had many compliments from a large number of the guests that it wasn't 'typical wedding food' and was all cooked to perfection. They were very flexible when catering to dietary requirements, we knew in advance we had a few guests who couldn't eat part of the main course and Daisy offered a substitute. We are not wine connoisseurs but it seemed pleasant and everyone enjoyed it. A nice touch was Daisy adding a bottle of alcohol-free wine to each table after I mentioned I'm not a big drinker and was also concerned for drivers etc. We went with the Vaulted Cellar for the reception and it's a great space for a party! We opted to use the casual seating and this was a big hit, as was the rum bar. A massive thank you to all the staff for tolerating our choice of music in the evening, it got rather wild and we had the best time!

helping me when I was getting stressed and answering all my questions even the silly little ones! On the day, Daisy kept me calm and talked me through everything. Daisy and her team made the room look beautiful for the wedding breakfast even better than I could have hoped for! Everyone worked so hard to ensure we had the best day possible!

fell in love with the hotel instantly.
We only had six months to plan our special day and Daisy made everything so easy for us.
Finally our day came and what an incredible day it was. Hotel rooms were fantastic, food fantastic, ceremony room was incredible. At no point did we have any worries or concerns, everything went so smoothly thanks to Daisy and the staff.
The evening party held in the cellar was a major hit with all of our guests and we loved every minute of our day, wish we could do it all again. Thank you for making our day so wonderful and for giving us the best memories.

As a person who manages in hospitality and hosted weddings myself, food and service has always been a big worry for me for my own day - I needed it to be perfect…somehow it was even better than we could imagine. The food was simply AMAZING. (One guest messaged me a week later to let me know he is still dreaming about the beef cheeks …it was that good…). We made a few little tweaks to some dishes which was no problem at all for the team and the service (headed by Daisy) was impeccable and faultless. The hotel should be very proud of the team they have, they are all an asset to the company. Wow. Thank you to all of you!
As for the venue - it is the best of both worlds. We had our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the assembly rooms - perfectly elegant and beautiful and the evening down in the vaulted cellars, the perfect space for live music/wedding DJ.
Honestly, if you’re looking for somewhere that you can host an entire wedding but still be a little different, this is one hundred percent the space for you. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

An absolutely beautiful quirky hotel with such character.

The assembly room is STUNNING. Such a picture perfect room that exudes elegance and class. I pay particular attention to flooring as I feel it gives such a finish and it is beautiful in that room.

For our evening reception, we chose the ‘vaulted cellar’ a completely different vibe and allowed us to portray the party side of us.
Jamie the barman, was a brilliant ‘host’, an absolute asset to the hotel.

Daisy was beyond fantastic. Answered emails with speed, so knowledgable, and able to tweak anything we wanted to our liking. Occasionally I had to change plans and she was so accommodating.
She is also super friendly and a dream to work with.
The whole day was seamless. I’m only sad that it went so quick.
We were lucky enough to have good weather in October so this opened up the terrace for our guests to mingle during reception drinks. Every person I spoke to said what a beautiful venue it was!
The wedding breakfast was faultless with fantastic portions. I was in the prime spot to watch service and the attention to detail was phenomenal. Daisy regularly checked on us to make sure we were ok and made sure we were where we were supposed to be and when. This helped the day just flow.
On a supplier note a family member provided the flowers and had remarked on what informative detailed correspondence she had had with Daisy.

I would 20/10 recommend the Kings Head Hotel.

offering us the dates available and a package to suit our needs.

We had a menu and wine tasting at the hotel a couple of months before our wedding. The food was incredible and we made a few changes to suit our tastes. The wine we wanted changed between us trying them and our wedding so Daisy let us try the new wines at our next appointment.

Throughout the whole planning progress, Daisy was incredible - keeping us updated and guiding us through our amazing day. We used a lot of suppliers recommended to us by Daisy and we loved them all.

We checked into the hotel the night before our wedding. The room for the bride the night before was lovely and spacious - we had 7 of us getting ready in the room plus the makeup artist and 2 hairdressers and had plenty of space. We had breakfast delivered to our room so we could eat while getting ready. We had a few requests on the morning of the wedding and the reception staff were incredible and nothing was too much for them.

The whole day was amazing. Daisy was on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly QD we had complete confidence in her.

We chose family style dining and our guests loved it - we loved the food, was all served exactly how we wanted it. Everyone commented on how amazing it was. In the evening , we had the Hog Roast option and it was amazing - again so many lovely comments on how amazing the food was.

Jamie was the bar manager for the bar in the function room and he was extremely accommodating. He was attentive and always on hand.

If you are thinking of getting married at the Kings Head, do not hesitate to book. Daisy is an incredible wedding coordinator and a real asset to the hotel.

just as beautiful, if we would've had a larger wedding it would've still been the perfect place for us!
Daisy from the beginning was so amazing, her passion for coordinating your special day really shines. She answered all sorts of questions and whims I had so happily and she was truly someone I could rely on during this process. On the day, Daisy was such a calming and fun person to be around, she made everything go so smoothly and everything was organised, even down to her having every little thing I forgot about!! She made every issue disappear with ease and made it possible for us to not have to worry about anything. We feel like we got off so easily with our wedding, it was the easiest process from first meeting to the day itself, and I truly have Daisy to thank for that! Not to forget the team working so hard serving our families and providing such great service!
The Food. The. Food! As massive foodies, the meal had to be great, trying the taster menu we knew we'd be in good hands on the day! Such delicious food, perfectly cooked and timed meals which can be difficult with 4 different mains in our party due to allergies and preferences! They really blew us away and everyone really enjoyed the meal.
Can't recommend this gorgeous hotel more. 5 stars all around!!

The food was delicious and was beautifully presented, the service could not have been more efficient. All our guests commented on the fabulous service they received. The assembly room was beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. We then had the reception in the vaulted cellar which created an incredible vibe and provided the perfect blend from a formal meal, into a fun, nightlife feel.

We would highly, recommend The Kings Head Hotel. We had the most amazing day.

for the venue and food. Daisy Hall and the other staff were attentive, kind, so helpful on the day and handled anything that we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic and all our guests commented on the quality of the food and how much they enjoyed it. The only constructive criticism I’d give is for a louder speaker for any music, it was a bit temperamental but Daisy again was on hand bringing in her own personal speaker to make sure we were okay!

document took the stress out of planning the wedding. The setting up and running of the day went without a hitch and we have no doubt that this is due to all of Daisy’s hard work. Having Daisy there on the wedding day felt like having a friend there and definitely helped to calm our nerves!
All of the staff that we met during our wedding could not have been more helpful or polite, with another thank you to Asus for ensuring the day ran smoothly.

The Kings Head as a venue was just a dream - it has so much character. I never wanted to get married in a hotel, but the Kings Head has so much character and charm, it’s such a boutique Cotswold Hotel that it didn’t feel like a hotel at all! The ceremony room was stunning, such a grand room, and the chairs the hotel supply are perfect - dainty wicker chairs!
We loved being able to use the outside terrace space too, and the use of the allocated bar.
Being in the heart of the Cotswolds our photographer took us outside where we could have some photos taken in the adorable Cotswold streets.
The food was delicious - lots of comments on the sticky toffee pudding! (We enjoyed the menu tasting sessions too - we were made to feel like VIPs by The Kings Head team!)
For our evening reception we used the downstairs vaulted cellar, which was brilliant and so different to any other venue we have been to. The vaunted cellar has its own private bar and eating area too.
Daisy was present on the day of the wedding which was such a reassurance and she was great at making sure my dress looked good for pics!
We had a brilliant day and would highly recommend Daisy and The Kings Head as a wedding venue. I wish we could do it all over again!!!

The only area that could be improved is the music system in the ceremony room (assembly room) - it’s bluetooth and we used Spotify playlists from our phone, the connection wasn’t so good and it was a small speaker, so apart from the aisle entrance song, the rest of the music couldn’t be heard that well/didn’t play. That’s an easy change to be made though with perhaps investing in a better sound system :)

Daisy was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, ensuring all elements of the day ran smoothly and always with a smile on her face! In the build up to the wedding she was always quick to respond with any queries we had and did the best to facilitate our every request. On the day Daisy and her team dealt with all the important preparations and final details meaning we were able to relax and enjoy every minute of our day.

KHH provides so many choices to create the perfect wedding with no need to compromise to achieve your dream day. All our guests stayed at the hotel and every single one was amazed by not only the quality of the rooms but also the individual quirks each room had. The food on the day and at the hotel was exceptional, a talking point from our guests for days after the wedding.

We will absolutely be returning to KHH for many years to come!

Cirencester is a great location for a wedding - a dreamy Cotswold town with little shops, chocolate box streets, and some really nice sightseeing opportunities. It's perfect for a weekend stay for your guests and the Kings Head is simply the perfect place in Cirencester. All of it - from the reception, bar, halls, to the hotel rooms - is extremely tasteful in a listed-building-meets-modern-chic kind of way. Also, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Daisy, our wedding coordinator, did an absolutely brilliant job helping us plan our day ahead and then actually making sure everything went smoothly on the day itself. She was a huge help and always super accommodating, making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. She couldn't have done any better and we really appreciated how reassuring, responsive and professional she was.

I would definitely recommend the Kings Head as a wedding venue, we had a fabulous day!

The level of planning, fine details, availability to discuss anything and delivery on the day was absolutely outstanding. They all took the worry and stress off us and delivered on our vision. Our special day went according
to plan and that was down to their precision and structure, far exceeding our expectations.

Kurt and I would like to say a massive thank you to Daisy, Azouz and all the team as they all ensured we had the best day ever and we are so very grateful to each and everyone who helped make our day special.
