We had our wedding here on 23 April 2022 and we can honestly say the staff at the Mercure couldn’t do enough to make our wedding day so special especially after having to postpone 4 times due to …

the Covid-19 Pandemic.

From start to finish we were looked after by the friendly helpful staff who changed our wedding dates when asked without fuss or bother. They also rearranged the accommodation we had booked for guests staying over and also kept to our original menu choice even though there had been a change in menu. They even had a taster night for us to try our chosen menu which we enjoyed.
On the day of our wedding, the ceremony room was set out in the colours we chose and they looked lovely. The room we had for our wedding breakfast and nighttime was also set out the way we wanted it to be, making our wedding venue look spectacular for our guests to enjoy the day with us.
The detail and care that the staff put in to make our day so special were above and beyond our expectations of them and we can highly recommend any prospective bride and groom to contact them to arrange their wedding day.
You won’t be disappointed.

the wedding. We went to the hotel several times in the build up to the wedding just for a drink or meal because it is such a nice place to be. The honeymoon suite was amazing, we were gutted we didn't get to spend more time in it!! We had plenty of family and friends stay over and they all complimented the rooms, service and food for their high quality.

The Marquee here is a perfect venue for a wedding. The staff, food and everything else were superb. The suite provided was excellent also.

I could not fault anything. Lee who was our master of ceremony was brilliant . I had a few issues …

regarding my luggage which was in one room but needed to be moved to the bridal suite and it was done without any issues. I even forgot the bridesmaids presents so they got my case, brought it to the marquee for me to retrieve them, then sent it back to my room. Excellent customer service!

Only niggle I had is that the cake was suppose to be brought round the tables for people to have a piece but instead was left on the end of the buffet and most guests didn't notice
