Originally an Edwardian country house, Mere Court Hotel is a beautiful 4 star hotel set in seven acres of spectacular gardens with an ornamental lake that provides an elegant and picturesque setting for your wedding.

Here at the Mere Court Hotel we only evere host one wedding per day, however we also offer the option to make the entire hotel exclusively yours for the day, where the main hotel & gardens will be closed to the general public from midday on the day of your wedding.

We are extremely proud of our multi award-winning wedding venue in Knutsford, Cheshire and have a team that are totally dedicated to making your wedding day dreams come true. From start to finish, from first booking our wedding right up until the day after, our wedding was absolutely fantastic.

All the staff at Mere Court Hotel were fabulous, and the wedding coordinator Georgia always went above and beyond to make our day magical.

No matter the day or time if we …

needed to ask something or wanted to go back to look at the venue we always got a very quick response. The team were so kind, friendly, and accommodating and provided so much communication to ensure we were happy with every tiny detail of our special day.

We could not have picked a better venue to have our big day at, everything was just perfect. All meals at the wedding breakfast were served efficiently, nobody was left waiting and the food was delicious.

For anyone looking for a venue that is intimate and stunning, and one that will take as much stress out of the planning process as possible, I cannot recommend Georgia & the team at Mere Court Hotel enough.

We couldn't recommend the Mere court enough! Georgia was amazing from the first meeting at the wedding fair to the wedding day. She was a big reason we decided to choose the mere court. Having spoken with so many other venues, we were getting fed up with hearing no for some of our ideas for the day. …

When we spoke to Georgia she found a way for us to bespoke our wedding day the way we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. Georgia and the hotel were always great with our little boy who often came along for the wedding meetings and the day itself.

All the staff at the mere court were so friendly. All the guests loved the grounds, and the food was complimented a lot. The venue did a great job catering to an array of different dietary requirements. They also worked very flexibly with our external vendors.

The venue was perfect for us, I don't think we could have had a better venue.

From the initial contact to arrange a walk around to the day itself Georgia and the team were amazing.
Communication was great, and we were never made to feel like anything was too much trouble.
Robbie coordinated the day itself, and again, nothing was too much trouble—even trying to keep tabs …

on an overexcited groom throughout the day!
All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and how attentive the staff were to any request.
All the suppliers used as part of the package through Mere Court were just as professional, and again, nothing was too much trouble.

We couldn’t have been happier with how the day and planning process went, and we have already recommended Mere Court and the team to some newly engaged couples we know.
