organising room reservations, timings, suppliers, menus, and various other elements for the day. They were very accommodating with our menu tasting and provided a good range of options for people with different dietary requirements.
Across the whole weekend, staff could not do enough for us and our guests - everyone felt well looked-after. Everything ran smoothly and flawlessly from start to finish, from setting out the decorations and turning the room around, to coordinating our suppliers and guests, as well as simply being very considerate and welcoming throughout.
The venue itself is, of course, stunning. Getting married in a real medieval castle is a truly unique experience. The renovations have preserved the historic features while also adding some modern luxury. It’s really beautifully done. Our package included a complimentary night in the Prince of Wales Suite, which was amazing! The staff also kindly brought us room service for breakfast. Beyond the building, the grounds and mountain views are utterly breathtaking. All of this provided such a gorgeous backdrop for our wedding photos.
Thanks again to the team at Ruthin Castle. They ensured a perfect wedding day for us and our guests. We can’t recommend them or thank them enough!

Ruthin Castle was our dream venue and our dreams really did come true on our wedding day. The events team were simply exceptional, as was the general manager. The whole team offered us support assurance and the most perfect care and attention the entire way through from booking, right the way through until our Big Day. We genuinely cannot recommend this venue enough... if you want to live your very own fairy tale... get booking!!!!

The Castle itself has beautiful grounds which were a joy to take photos in (thankfully the weather held out for us!) and we can't wait to see the pictures. Our dog Merlin was allowed to be a part of our day as our ring bearer and definitely stole the show in his suit.

We are so glad we had our wedding here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone else looking for a wedding venue with its own wealth of history to discover.

before going down the aisle and she made sure I was okay, calmed me down and let me do everything in my own time. Honestly we can't thank you all enough. Would like to apologise for the mess we did leave when you transferred our things. Entertaining kids as well as getting ready = very hard! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. friendly, approachable and want to make your time there enjoyable. The manager, Ionut Rus also made sure he was available to check we had everything we needed to make our day special and worry free. I can’t thank everyone at Ruthin Castle enough for helping to make our day magical and memorable and making me feel so special as a bride. I love Ruthin Castle, it is so unique from the interior to the grounds to the wonderful team of people who run it. You're doing an amazing job .

were more than happy with what was offered. There was plenty of communication beforehand to make sure all the little things were in place before the day. The event plannings team (particularly Naomi) were so helpful in making a few changes and substitutes to the food and drink offering to meet needs of myself and guests. The day itself, to say something is perfect is a bold statement, but our wedding was. The staff on the day couldn’t have done enough for us, they made sure everything ran to schedule and they were so friendly and helpful. I stayed the night before and the manager on shift was so helpful in going through the wedding day schedule and letting me check out the room for the layout and put in any decorations I wanted. The castle itself is just beautiful from the original decor to the gardens outside, it was a fabulous location for our wedding. The staff were so efficient, they cleared up the rooms and tidied away all of our belongings into another room for us to collect in the morning. The food was delicious and was just the right amount throughout the day and the suite they put us in at the end of the night was amazing, I can’t wait to go back on our anniversary.
I can’t praise this place enough for hosting our wedding.

plenty of rustic fries) the food was delicious. There was plenty to feed all of our guests and the food just kept coming. The set up of the room was stunning, hats off to the in-house decor company, Marleys Magical creations. And boy did they turn our room Into something magical. A lovely touch towards the darker evening was when the staff lit the fire pit for our guests. It really was lovely. A huge plus for us was the surrounding land that our photographer was able to get some brilliant shots of us and our guests. We're so happy we chose Ruthin Castle as our wedding venue and we can't wait to go back there for our anniversary.
