Our Exclusive event spaces on levels 39 and 40 are licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 140 guests. This allows us to invite couples to say ‘I do’ over one of the city’s most impressive views.

Dining at the very top of the Gherkin, underneath the dome and surrounded by London’s night sky, Searcys create a wonderfully warm and romantic atmosphere; and if there’s one thing we’re passionate about it’s our food. Weddings at The Gherkin are lavishly catered for with bespoke menus created by Searcys at the Gherkin head chef, Daniel Loftin.

Each Bride and Groom will have the benefit of one of our experienced wedding Coordinators to assist them with all aspects of planning their special day. Our dedicated Teams will ensure that you receive the highest level of service at every step – so that you can enjoy your celebration as much as your guests.

For a more intimate wedding, our newly opened private dining rooms are ideal for more smaller celebrations. Sitting high above London on the 38th floor, the rooms share the same incredible backdrop views are named after clouds.

The cloud inspired rooms are perfect to hold ceremonies or dinners for just 10 guests or a larger gathering can be held for up to 60 guests across the whole floor.

went so well and was a wonderful experience. All the suppliers who Sophie recommended were outstanding and made our wedding so perfect. We cannot recommend a wedding at The Gherkin enough, all the staff from bar staff, security, cloakroom staff to waitresses and chefs were professional and personable and all the comments from all of our guests were amazed at how wonderful it all was. Thank you again to Sophie and all the team and if I had one wish it would be to do it all again.

The food and service was incredible and all our guests even now three months after the date of our wedding are still talking about how amazing everything was.

360° created a both a glamourous and magical atmosphere. All this in an iconic internationally renowned building. Couldn't recommend enough. The practical side is perfect too. No weather conditions affect the day, everything in the venue is taken care of by the staff centrally so we did not have any stress or organising to do on the day at all and could take in every moment of an incredible day. No herding around our guests to different places which maximised our day. We are passionate about food and it was amazing! The menu was fantastic and the choices we made were delicious and like nothing our guests has tasted anywhere else. If you're reading this and wondering whether or not this venue is for you, so was I. Go see it, you will fall in love with it like I did!

I was married last Saturday at the Gherkin and I am wasting no time in complimenting your venue and your staff, especially Katie Wells, your fabulous Wedding Planner.
She was the most responsive event manager I have had the pleasure to work with. (And I have worked with a few!) …

Nothing was too much or too little, every concern was dealt with quickly and considerately. Katie did her up most to meet every request, (no matter how strange!) and did so in a friendly, efficient and assuring manner.
