and hotel staff could make occassions before we even came to look at the wedding rooms and discuss wedding planning. Jane, our wedding co-ordinator, I couldn't fault. Throughout the entire process she was so helpful, friendly and put us at ease about everything. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and she did a fantastic job with the team for our wedding.
The quality of the food has always stuck out at Sopwell House and despite having to serve a three course wedding breakfast to 200 guests, it was done with success. I have had so many comments from guests to say how impressed they were with the food and also how hot it was when served, considering how many guests we had. Sopwell House were lovely enough to allow us to offer our guests three options for starter, main and dessert (of course these had to be pre ordered). This was a great touch and very appreciated by our guests as its never easy to suit 200 people when you limit their choices but this certainly made it easier!
The St Alban Suite is an attractive room as it is but it can be made to look incredible with the right team working with you which Sopwell can help with.

The function room was nicely set up, looked very classy, and everything went perfectly smoothly. It was a nice bonus to see the firework display at midnight as well.
We stayed in one of the suites for the night, which was very luxurious and extremely comfortable.

The food on the day was magnificent and our bridal suite was the perfect final touch to an incredible day. Sopwell and jane helped turn our dream wedding into reality. We were also given a complimentary suite the night of the wedding which was just gorgeous with lots of lovely celebratory extras. The next morning Sopwell let us use the whole restaurant to cater a private breakfast for all our friends and family which was just fantastic. Thank you Sopwell for sending us off into married life in such style!
