Our wedding at St Pancras station was just perfect: from the magnificent architecture of the station to the friendly and intimate reception in the champagne bar; from our ceremony on the concourse to our honeymoon send-off to the Eurostar; from the Nebuchadnezzar of champagne to the lovely food... a

From Russell:

“It was a pleasure organising our wedding ceremony and reception with Searcys. The preparation was painless, Karolina was available for face to face meetings when needed where we got to sample the champagne and canapés beforehand. We were even advised to use the Nebuchadnezza we

ordered as a guestbook, which has made a stunning memento. The ceremony and reception were well run with the staff attentively topping up our guests. The ceremony was made extra special by Searcys accommodating a choir and flower arch we brought along to make it an event to remember”

From Aisha:

"From start to finish we had amazing help from Karolina. From our first meeting where she explained the logistics, to the food tasting for the canapés and meeting the bar staff to discuss the drinks menu.

The staff ran things smoothly all day, helping with the set up of the venue and were great to all our guests. It was an unforgettable day, enjoyed by all our friends and family.”

My husband and I had a small intimate wedding reception at Searcys St Pancras private dining room. It was a great night full of great food, excellent cocktails and wine as well as wonderful staff. The Searcy's team were very hospitable and well organized. They helped make our wedding reception run

smoothly and create a very enjoyable atmosphere which catered for family, friends and even wee ones. We were able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements and for those under 5 years old. I recommend their Private Dining Room for those who have 12 or under guests as it is perfect for a small wedding. We loved sitting at one large table surrounded by those we love. Thank you Searcys St Pancras.

We only gave six months’ notice and had very specific ideas for our day. We requested a simple morning service, to be held at Searcy’s St.Pancras champagne bar. Following the ceremony, we wanted two hours of exquisite champagne and breakfast canapés before we boarded the Eurostar, with our

wedding party, for an evening of celebration in Paris.
Iwona worked with the chef to suggest a variety of breakfast canapés that were tailored to our requirements… The resulting tiny quails egg benedicts and miniature smoked salmon and scrambled egg croissants, amongst others, were beautiful and the perfect accompaniment to our selected champagnes.
Iwona organised flowers and music and, on the day, ensured everyone was comfortable and welcome.
Our lasting memory is of five star service, with glasses being discreetly filled, canapés never far from reach, without ever noticing staff presence. All staff worked unobtrusively under Iwona’s professional instruction, having mastered the art of being invisible and yet simultaneously indispensable. We would not hesitate to ask Iwona to plan future events for us

My husband and I were married in October 2013 on the concourse at St Pancras. Not only is the venue amazing – like being married in a cathedral – but Iwona Bobowska, the wedding planner at Searcy’s was fabulous. She and the team were so helpful – nothing was too much trouble; they were

flexible and above all, fun!

When people in the family were stressing out over last minute details Iwona was gracious and responsive. We had a lot of laughter trying out champagne and food and she took care of everything. I really did not have to worry about anything in Iwona’s care. I really felt that she wanted us to have a great day and that we were the most special people…even though I knew she had lots of other clients.

I have pretty high expectations of professional standards. Iwona, met every single one.

It felt like a really capable member of my family was organising my wedding, which I think is about the highest praise I could give

After getting engaged on a beautiful, old routemaster, it seemed only right to marry in a train station.

The day was absolutely magical and we couldn't have asked for more. Searcy's was faultless from their staff demeanour to the quality of food.

The wedding planner, Iwona, was nothing short

of extraordinary. It was her vision and her understanding of our needs that brought our wedding to life. Furthermore, she went the extra mile by adding many embellishments to ensure the venue looked exquisite.

We highly recommend this stunning venue to any couple looking for a quirky, urban wedding. Pair that with Iwona and you're sure to have a fabulous day.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Searcy's on 9th September 2016 and I can honestly say that, without all the help from our Event Planner - Iwona Bobowska - the day wouldn't have gone anywhere near as smoothly as it did!

Iwona's attention to detail and willingness to accommodate

absolutely any request we had was phenomenal.

From assisting in arranging the canapé and wedding breakfast menus, to decorating the private dining room with her own hand made flower arrangements and creating buttonholes for all the wedding party - Iwona had it all covered!

Our wedding was planned over six months, and throughout that time Iwona communicated promptly and clearly with me about any requests or issues I had.

Iwona's calmness, patience and enthusiasm were outstanding, put very simply... we couldn't have done it without her!!

Iwona's pride in her work, dedication to her clients and passion for her role is obvious to anyone that meets her. On the day, she was even present to serve canapés at the champagne reception - above and beyond the call of duty!!

As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can honestly say, Iwona is a consumate professional and I would recommend Iwona to absolutely anyone who is having a wedding or important event in the future.

Iwona, my Wife and I can't thank you enough for all you did for us on our special day - you really are one in a million!!

We are delighted to be able to say that our wedding on the Grand Terrace was a really fantastic experience for us and also for our guests and, seemingly, the general public!

As a venue it works amazingly, very much the more so because it is managed so very well by Iwona - we found her to be

Firstly, we can't believe our luck at discovering that we could get married in St Pancras Station, it's one of our most favourite buildings in London. The perfect venue for a unique and romantic wedding!

Your patience in hand tying bows on 72 chairs didn't go unnoticed, we received lots compliments (mainly from the ladies) about how pretty they looked.
Thank you again.

our engagement, also at St Pancras, we decided how wonderful it would be for our ceremony to take place there. They were flexible with us choosing a date that suited us and within a couple of weeks it was all booked. Iwona continued to give us excellent advice on the next steps.

The day was stunning, all was precisely organised and placed with great sensitivity. An aspect to the day that I had not fully considered was the fantastic connection with everyone else in the station who became a part of our big day, by smiling and congratulating us.

Iwona is the most incredible wedding planner! She handled everything with style and finesse. If I ever had a curve ball, Iwona calmly told me it was no problem and sorted it. This talented lady even organised and arranged my exquisite bouquets and boutonnières!

Thank you so much to Iwona and Searcy's St Pancras Grand Brasserie & Champagne Bar for making our day the loveliest!

Tom and I were thrilled to have our wedding ceremony at St Pancras Grand Brasserie and Champagne Bar and we could not recommend it highly enough to anyone else.

Initially we fell in love with the setting, visually stunning, the ceiling is so impressive and made a perfect backdrop for our

photographs. The whole event had a touch of glamour and humour to it, not many people get married in a train station, but still every time we go through Kings Cross on the tube, my husband and I feel like we are visiting out wedding venue, it is such a lovely feeling. We got married in February, and yes it was cold, but it was a talking point for all of our guests (and it gave everyone and excuse to buy a new coat!)

Iwona, the events co-ordinator, was fantastic, she was so supportive and encouraging- the advice she was able to give us was invaluable. She organised seating areas, drinks reception, sound system etc. This took so much pressure off us, and made such a difference to the planning.

I am so pleased that we picked this unusual venue for our wedding.

My wife and I, had a wonderful wedding drink at St Pancras Grand Brasserie & Champagne Bar.

Everything was very well organized, by the events manager which is in my mind crucial when you have a wedding.

The venue is wonderful and we had a lot of positive comments from our guests. The canapés

it was also a great venue for the children who were able to see the Eurostar leaving and arriving at the station.

Our only regrets is that it all went very quickly.
Luckily, we have some magical memories which we will cherish for the rest of our life.

I will definitely recommend this venue to any of my friends who wish to get married.

We had our intimate wedding here (of just 15 people) at the end of May 2015. From the beginning we were really impressed with the way our query was handled by the venue. There was great communication from Iwona, with all of our questions answered quickly over email or over the phone. She helped us

with all of the planning and options for the ceremony. We chose to have our 4pm ceremony, followed by some champagne and canapes rather than a full meal, and went elsewhere for our evening reception. Everyone commented on how fantastic and unusual the venue was - it was so fun and different to exchange our vows in such an iconic and public place! There were lots of onlookers taking photos etc but it didn't feel intrusive, was just good fun and we loved it. It was definitely a day to remember and the photos are absolutely stunning as the venue is so beautiful. The staff were all brilliant, and the food and drink was great too. It was also very good value for money, a small venue hire fee plus the food and drink.

The only down side was that there was another wedding ceremony booked just an hour after ours. We couldn't really complain about this as they were a much bigger wedding and were staying in the venue for their evening reception - so we completely understood why the venue would want to boo them in. However, due to the open and public space we couldn't avoid the other wedding party, and it felt really awkward walking past them as the bride, while they were waiting for their bride to arrive! But i was quite relaxed about it - not sure if they were or not!

I'd like to start by saying Thank You So Much to St Pancras Grand, Iwona Bobowska & Sam Lane (photographer extraordinaire) – my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams because of you all.

Pancras (so stunning!), hire a carriage on the Eurostar to travel to Brussels, & have the meal/weekend away with our closest friends and family) – but thanks to the (Amazing) Iwona Bobowska & staff at St Pancras Grand & the (Incredible) Sam Lane, it became the most fantastic reality.
From the very first email to Iwona to enquire about Searcy's I knew she & the wedding were going to be amazing, purely because of her enthusiasm, warmth & clear love of all things wedding. The ceremony itself is something I, my husband, & I think all of our guests will never forget. The setting was just beautiful under the St Pancras glass shed next to Mr Betjeman himself, with the Eurostar trains departing on the adjacent platform adding to the atmosphere. The champagne and canapés were delicious, & the staff so attentive, with the guests & their luggage, music & sound system & just about everything else being organised seamlessly. Iwona in particular did everything to make our day as special as possible, & I swear her talents are endless. She not only organised the entire ceremony, she also created my bouquet, the chair decorations & the gorgeous flower arrangement for the registrar's table, as well as sorting out the button holes, hair pieces & corsages. But more than that (which was kept a surprise for my husband & I) she also created single handedly the most beautiful bunting to decorate our Eurostar carriage, AND, on hearing we wouldn't be having a wedding cake due to all the travelling, she made us a beautiful chocolate cake to cut & share on the Eurostar. Just Amazing!

I honestly can't recommend St Pancras Grand highly enough - you really will have the wedding of your dreams!

Planning our day at St Pancras Grand was just fabulous from the very beginning.

We actually looked at the venue just for the ceremony at first, thinking we couldn't afford to have the whole thing there. However I completely fell in love with the restaurant and it was actually a lot more

affordable than I thought.

Meeting Iwona also swung it. She made us feel so completely at ease and is so lovely. She really listened to what we wanted and made it all happen with no fuss. Iwona had brilliant ideas, great contacts if we needed them, and ran everything...all while making it look effortless. I can't imagine how hard she worked behind the scenes, but it all went without a hitch.

Our day was just perfect. I loved every second of it from start to finish. From the ceremony, to the drinks reception to the dinner, it was seemless and amazing in every way. The champagne and drinks were flowing, the canapes lovely and the meal delicious. I really wanted to make sure we didnt just have another boring wedding menu, and we got exactly what we wanted. Iwona made our menu choices happen for the best price I could find, and having it in a great restaurant meant the food was of a very high standard. I am so glad we found St Pancras and Iwona, and can't imagine a better wedding planned and executed anywhere else. It was emotional but so much fun and was a perfect reflection of us. I can't say enough how fabulous it was. I am still smiling weeks later. Thank you

Nothing gives me more pleasure than to recommend the Searcys Organization.
We were really satisfied and happy!
Everything was carried out to perfection thanks to the suggestions and advice from the "famous" Iwona, and above all, our every wish was granted: who could ask for more?!
I am not

exaggerating when I say that we couldn't have found a better location and I can say this from personal experience having organized two events for our wedding, one in London and one in Italy where we actually live.
Iwona was our councillor, patient and intelligent, in other words a friend!
St. Pancras Station was perfect, totally different from the usual locations and this was borne out by the guests who were literally captivated!
Thanks for everything....

Best regards,
Jenny

When we started planning our wedding, I don't think either of us ever imagined we would end up tying the knot in a train station, least of all the one I commute through every day. Now having done it, I have absolutely no regrets.

The venue is iconic and stunning. It made an unusual but fabulous

backdrop for the photos and was a real talking point, even with the trains coming and going it all just adds to the atmosphere! I don't think any of our guests really knew what to expect and were slightly perplexed by the choice (neither of us being keen train-spotters), but all were in agreement that it was a fantastic choice.

The staff at Searcys, and in particular our lovely wedding planner, Iwona, were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole process from choosing food and drink, to the order of the ceremony through to being whisked through Eurostar security by our awesome photographer (Sam Lane) and ushered onto the train to Paris was an absolute joy. Iwona really went above and beyond the job required of her which included organising flowers from suppliers at the station, ferrying buttonholes to groomsmen and managing the PA system so the music worked when it should and attentively looking after all our guests.

The food was excellent, we had a combination of hot and cold canapés which really filled everyone up and were not in short supply. We took advantage of the champagne that the bar was promoting that month, which was very good and great value. We had 40 guests in total which worked very well as everyone was seated for the ceremony and we had the reception in the bar area alongside the Eurostar platform. All in all I would not hesitate to recommend Searcys St Pancras Grand as a wedding venue.
