the day couldn’t have gone smoother. The food was delicious and complimented by many of our guests. Walking into the room we were blown away by the setup and backdrop of the seafront in the horizon suite was just stunning & a great opportunity for photos! There is nothing we would change or suggest as you guys seem to have everything covered. We could not recommend The View enough for everything they did for us not only on the day of the wedding but the run up to it too.
We couldn't have asked for more attentive staff and they were all so caring and happy on the day.
Lesley and Sasha both made sure they had all of our details correctly …

and ensured we knew we could get in touch about anything, no matter how big or small the question/enquiry was.
All of our guests commented on how amazing the room looked and how brilliant all the staff members were.
We can't thank everyone enough for making sure that our wedding day met all of our expectations and then some; all of our dreams came true!

Lesley and her team were absolutely fantastic at liaising with us every step of the way during the wedding planning process. Thanks to Lesley there were no "bridezilla" moments when it came to the reception, she was very receptive and did whatever she could to make any adjustments that were required …

and was a fountain of knowledge for other aspects - such as the cake and room decorations. I didn't believe it was possible for a wedding plan to go so smoothly but was happy to be proved wrong by the team at The View.

The room looked amazing when all set out and I would recommend The View in a heartbeat to anyone looking to plan any sort of event - although any business meetings may get distracted by the beautiful view out the window!

i had my wedding breakfast & reception the view the whole day was perfect. lesley is so lovely and nothing is ever to much trouble for her. the staff were so helpful and the food was delicious. 100% reccomend. thank you

We got married here 2 weeks ago the hotel was stunning with amazing views especially the function room where the ceremony was held and the staff was amazing going out of there way to make sure everything was right for us. Thankyou to all staff at the view hotel for making our day absolutely perfect.

We had a very lovely wedding superbly arranged by Lesley our coordinator. The room was beautifully arranged by Zoe with our choices of decorations laid out to plan. Amber looked after us on our day and the food we chose was beautifully presented in silver service style and all our of our guests …

complimented us on our choices. One slight disappointment was the wine service where after the first glass was served things went to pieces - we needed to chase the waiter for our own sparkle for toasting and table two did not receive any at all. It should have followed in a rotation but waiters were looking for tables to serve and we went to find our own chocolates on top table. None of this detracted from our personal enjoyment of the day; we were told by our guests later on. The Disco was excellent and Kevin the DJ went out of his way to encourage us to dance. The buffet was also good.
We retired to our lovely room exhausted when the last of our guests called it a day.

From the moment I went to look at the venue, Lesley who we booked it with helped us from that moment onwards and even after the wedding, The venue was beautiful we could not fault this in anyway, Even the cake we took to reception as it sort of fell apart on the way down the night before the wedding …

and George on reception was a great help sorted this straight for us he got the cake fixed that same night, The staff who worked in a reception room were amazing, we feel the hotel went above and beyond for us and we could not thank them enough for everything they have done for us, They made our day very special and stress free, I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and if I could rate them more than a 5* I would.

From helping me with wedding timings, to what the table plan could look like and just generally anything she could help with she not only offered …

suggestions but she went an extra mile for us too. I can't thank her enough. Chelsea was also lovely and very accommodating and was with us the day before the wedding and the day of, helping us with the decor and last minute changes. During the reception, I believe his name is Simon, (but I could be very wrong) was in charge of the evening, and he was so helpful especially with food swaps due to allergies I found out then. Thanks to him, things went so smoothly and without a hitch. I can't thank the staff enough for their timeliness and professionalism, and would totally recommend the View Hotel for a hassle-free wedding. Also it is a very beautiful location!!!

From our first visit until we left on the morning after the wedding we loved The View. Lesley (Wedding Coordinator) was lovely, so friendly and relaxed yet efficient and knowledgeable. our guests had an amazing view- who could ask for a better back drop than our beautiful sea? The room looked amazing for both the ceremony and the wedding breakfast (with thanks to Flutterbys). All of the food was piping hot, well presented and superb. We decided on the house wine and had many compliments from our guests on how good it was.
The hotel provides lots of photo opportunities with its spiral staircase, steps outside and of course the beach across the road.
Our disco was provided by the hotel and the dance floor was full all night!
All the staff were wonderful- friendly and efficient.
Overall the most perfect day and we would sincerely recommend to any couple looking for a venue that stands out from the rest.

There is nothing that we would change about the day, we are so pleased with the outcome. The service was brilliant, all the staff were so friendly and made us feel very well looked after and relaxed on the day.
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it.
The views are amazing, it was so lovely waking up on the morning after the wedding to a stunning view of the seafront.
We will definitely be returning to The View hotel for another visit!

amount of family members staying at the hotel for the wedding and they were just as impressed as we were.
