The hotel inside and outside was beautiful. The staff and management were helpful and polite and made our wedding day, that little bit more special. The rooms for both ourselves and our guests were lovely and clean and comfortable, the food in the hotel was delicious. We will definitely be

If I could give this hotel, I would give it ten stars.

The Staff was very attentive, even with lots of different emails we sent; staff was always quick to answer our questions. The room in which we held our reception was beautiful. The food was lovely with plenty of choice for the wedding

breakfast and the evening buffet.
Staff were on hand all day during the wedding to guide us with our timings, they even include a toast master free of charge. Waitressing staff and bar staff were friendly and helpful to our guests. Everyone commented on how beautiful the room was.

The venue was very reasonably priced, and in the centre of town so is easily accessible. We were given plenty of car park passes for our guests which were another bonus. The honeymoon room was beautiful, and the hotel arranged with our suppliers to pick all our hired items back up, so we had nothing to worry about.
Everything about this venue is fantastic I couldn’t have asked for anything else. The staff made our wedding day completely perfect.

My husband and I got married at this hotel in August 2013. Our wedding day was fantastic. Alan, the wedding planner, took care of everything during the day, even when we had a slight crisis, he sorted it in no time, so we had absolutely no stress or worry throughout.

The menu was just right, and

everyone got their meals according to their dietary requirements. We chose tomato soup for starter, roast beef for main and profiteroles for desert. All food was cooked to perfection.

I would say that the hotel staff went above and beyond their duties to accommodate all our wishes, the service was flawless and delivered to a very high standard.

We rented the executive room for an extra day, (on top of the day we were given as part of the package) and I am really glad we did this as it took away the pressure of getting ready in time. Our room was spacious and clean and had all the modern facilities.

Overall, I would always recommend this hotel as a wedding venue, I am sure staff would always give 150% to ensure the wedding day goes according to plan.

The wedding package was fantastic value for money. The quality of the food was outstanding and an alternative meal was quickly provided for one guest who hadn't told us of dietary requirements beforehand. Our photos didn't take as long as planned and our guests arrived at the hotel much earlier than

anticipated but nothing was a problem and everyone was looked after in the bar. It gave us chance to mingle and relax with our guests before going up to the room for the breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the team of staff at the hotel and every need we had was met. Paula even came in on the morning of our wedding to ensure everything was perfect despite her having the previous week off work. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the room where we stayed extremely comfortable. The breakfast we ate the morning after was the best we've had in a hotel in this country. Thank you for making our wedding one we wanted without any stress on our part.

We knew our wedding would be a brilliant day before we decided on everything, looking around venues was tough as so many are so lovely but one thing that the White Hart had above all others was enthusiasm.
Even before we officially agreed to the venue, the White Hart showed us great service and

assistance, Alan and Paula were fantastic - some of the friendliest people you'll meet.

The package deal was excellent and covered all bases, we had no trouble at all - despite (like most people with a wedding) our nitpicking and attention to detail!
The day itself was brilliant, everything was taken care of, the food was delicious and everything ran to plan!

I think what most people look for when planning any big event is a dedicated team, quality of venue, a reasonable price and a bit of sunshine.

Thanks to the White Hart we had all of these! (Ok, the sun came out of it's own accord)

The White Hart Hotel was great for our wedding. We wanted a small wedding and the White Hart was perfect for us, although the White Hart doesn't have a garden area for photos we hired the Fydell House round the corner for a couple of hours for photos and was ideal as the room was getting changed

around ready for the wedding breakfast.

The wedding breakfast at the White Hart could not be faulted and everyone enjoyed there meals. We had the Roast turkey option and the Goat cheese tartlet for vegetarian and both was very tasty. The staff was excellent, we had one guest that didn't inform us he didn't like the starter and they happily changed it for him to the vegetarian option we had, so they must of had extras made incase. Perfect!

Whilst the room was getting changed around for the evening guests to arrive it was perfect weather to be sat outside in the patio area.

The evening part of our wedding ran just as smooth as the rest of the day. The in house disco we had was brilliant, everyone was up dancing to the music.

Even though our wedding was 9months ago, we are still getting our guest telling us how much they enjoyed our wedding and part of this is down to the White Hart Hotel. We really did have a day to remember!

If you are having the White Hart Hotel as your venue I would definitely recommend hiring the Fydell House gardens for photos. It does cost very much (about £15 for a hour) but gives you the option of photos outside in a lovely garden. Although you can get some nice photos at the white hart with the Stump in the background so not essential that you do.
