Wedding offers - The Complete Wedding Package
All-inclusive weddings from £9999 based on 50 guests plus additioanl 30 evening guests, or 60 guests for the whole day and evening attending!! Sunday to Thursday or 6 months out for Friday and Saturdays
Available for weddings until December 2025 at £9999, please see attachment for all details. For 2026 £10500 for Sunday to Thursday.
Ceremony and reception rooms
The Traditional Drawing room or our Sunken Lawn accommodates up to 100 guests for your ceremony, with the beautiful Signatures lounge or Sunken Lawn available for the reception drinks after your ceremony.
The Garden Suite can accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit-down wedding breakfast and then up to 200 for your evening reception.

We have 40 bedrooms; 16 elegant and spacious rooms and suites in the meticulously restored historic house, and 24 rooms and suites with delightful views over the gardens and parkland in the contemporary garden wing. We can offer special rates.

We had our initial meeting with Pheobe at 11am and we had received our quote at 1pm. We made a couple of amendments and received the updated quote on the same day. We knew if Pheobe was this efficient that Wivenhoe House was the right choice for us.
Pheobe has been absolutely amazing since our first meeting. Pheobe has been professional, calm, excitable and has gone above and beyond our expectations. On the wedding day Pheobe was spectacular. She had absolutely everything handled and looked after, even things we hadn't thought of.
We would like you to know how lucky you are to have someone like Pheobe working for you.
Another member of staff who deserves a special mention is Lionel. We have met Lionel a few times during our visits, meals and celebrations at Wivenhoe House and he has been memorable every time. We want to thank him for making the decision to make the big changes to the normal service to make sure our wedding day was perfect.

We booked a room for two nights so I stayed a day before.
They stored our cake the day before and took everything off our hands, vases of flowers, everything.
The wedding day was amazing.
We had my grandsons as photographers they are 7 & 8 with the help of the registrar, she placed them facing the guests to get the best shots. As the boys they were 4, Lisa moved button holes etc. This was a simple wedding made special.
I had silk flowers in vases, they were placed on the table during the service and by the time we sat down they had moved to the wedding table, it all makes a difference.
Something very special, I gave a table place on a piece of A4 cardboard and as we went to enter the wedding breakfast they had made up an A3 table plan using images of the name places with butterflies and putting it in a stand. It made a difference.
A very helpful thing especially with the cost of living after the deposit is paid, you get a date for the balance to be paid by so I was paying with whatever money I had during the weeks leading up to the final payment. I managed to pay via bank transfer bits here there and everywhere. Very flexible.So after boring the pants off everyone.
The staff everyone from kitchen to house keeping (who thank you for our surprise by the way it was wonderful) were exceptional.
Professional but approachable even tolerated the boys who were good but children will be children so another big thank you to the lady with the 5 year old for keeping an eye out. The building was magnificent. Everything was spotless. The food wonderful

Hats off to Lionel and his team for their impeccable and discrete service, and to Pheobe and Gemma for all their help on the day.
We were also taken with how beautifully our bedroom and function rooms were set and the calm and efficient way the entire day flowed faultlessly.
We feel that we should also thank Camilla Legg for Jayne's hair and makeup, and Rob and Andy of Embrace Photography for integrating so well with the Wivenhoe team to make our day flow seamlessly.
Overall we and our guests enjoyed our time with you immensely and will be recommending you wholeheartedly.
