Carnoustie Golf Hotel offers complete versatility. They cater for large and traditional weddings to small and bespoke. There are a variety of beautiful settings within the hotel to make your day as individual as you like. We chose to have a small, intimate ceremony and meal in the Hogan Suite, surrounded by our closest family, followed by a good old shin dig with extended family and friends in The Augusta suite in the evening. The venue was stunning, having been freshly decorated, which was a bonus.
The staff were excellent and very attentive, and all our wishes were met without question.
From start to finish, our experience was fabulous, and we have so many fantastic memories of our day.

From the initial consultation meeting with Morag Fraser until check-out after our reception, it was evident that her team’s strengths lie in organisation, professional excellence and attention to detail.

Prior to our reception, it was necessary for us to alter the number of guests (many times) …

and the changes were implemented without fuss and, on evening, the venue was adapted to accommodate these changes, which really contributed to a fantastic night.

Since our reception, we have received numerous positive comments from our guests regarding the venue itself, the quality of the catering and the friendliness and efficiency of the bar staff on the night.

For us, the whole experience was enhanced by being allocated a suite overlooking the first tee and eighteenth green, and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending The Carnoustie Golf Hotel to family, friends and colleagues

Every request we had, even making slight adjustments to the package to better suit ourselves, was dealt with professionally and …

was never any trouble. On the day of the wedding, Morag was on hand helping out the bridal party with little bits and bobs, i.e. buttonholes/flowers and with the help of the rest of the team, made sure that everything ran like clockwork. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were very generous. It was a beautiful day from start to finish, and we had no complaints from any of our guests, who all thoroughly complimented us on a fabulous day/night. We can not thank the team at Carnoustie enough for making us feel special and would 100% recommend this venue for any type of event, as you will be well looked after.

spotless. The breakfast and the service at breakfast were excellent. Morag, the wedding coordinator at Carnoustie Golf Hotel is just outstanding. She goes above and beyond and she helped make our day extra special. The venue for a wedding is stunning with beautiful views and plenty of space for guests. It really was the best day. We would 100 percent recommend the Carnoustie Golf Hotel for anyone planning a wedding.
