When planning our wedding reception we contacted a number of venues for quotes in Southampton city centre. Grand Harbour Hotel's quote appeared to offer the best value, i.e. most for your money and I saw they had good reviews so we went with them.

imagine anywhere else being able to top the experience we had. For a very good price we were made to feel very important by Ken who is their weddings/events organiser. There was lots of communication in the lead-up to the day, including meetings to ensure the day was going to run exactly how we wanted it. It felt like nothing was too much trouble and they were able to be flexible with pretty much whatever we wanted. On the wedding day, Ken was there giving us his full attention to make sure the day ran smoothly. Several wedding guests made a point of telling me how good Ken was. I would 100% recommend this venue for a wedding.

We had our intimate wedding last 28th April 2022 and Ken was our wedding coordinator at Leonardo Royal Hotel for our reception. He made everything easy for us during our preparation and the actual day of our wedding. He made sure that we were well informed about the details, schedules band if there …

were some changes in our plans. He even made extra effort to buy an universal adapter for hair straightener because my friend forgot to bring one. A massive thank you Ken for your help! We really enjoyed our big day! I highly recommend Ken!

We had the most perfect wedding day at Leonardo Royal Grand Harbour. Everything went perfectly to plan. We had a private room, and very personal service. The food was also delicious!

We had an amazing wedding in may 2021. Due to restrictions we onlY had 8 guests, but we returned to the hotel for a wedding party For 100 people in october 2021. On both occasions the food was excellent and guests still talk about whaT a good time they had!

the hotel just changed everything for us. It was a beautiful, intimate day. The food was fantastic, plenty of choices, lovely and hot and all served together. We had a taste test before the day, and we knew from then the food would be beautiful. Toni, our wedding planner, was with us from the moment I checked into the hotel until late into the evening. She made sure everything went smoothly, and we can honestly say she was an absolute joy to work with. We changed things, added things, asked her to arrange things and nothing was too much trouble. The tables were all decorated for us, and they looked beautiful. The hotel also made our cake, and there was none left for anyone to take home, which is a great sign of how good it was. We looked at a lot of other venues, some cheaper some more expensive, some much much more expensive, but none gave us the confidence the Leonardo did. If you're getting married, go for Leonardo, you won't be disappointed. I'm sure you will be just as happy as we were.
