Sopwell House is a wedding venue licensed for civil ceremonies up to 300 enabling you to host your entire wedding here and create your dream day. If you hold your wedding reception at Sopwell House then we offer a complimentary stay on your wedding night.
Our St Alban Suite can be tailored to your specification and accommodate up to 280 people with a dance floor and stage, ideal for large wedding parties. Free on-site car parking for all your wedding guests, Kosher and Asian catering available and exceptional facilities mean that your fairytale wedding can become a reality.

The quality of the food has always stuck out at Sopwell House and despite having to serve a three course wedding breakfast to 200 guests, it was done with success. I have had so many comments from guests to say how impressed they were with the food and also how hot it was when served, considering how many guests we had. Sopwell House were lovely enough to allow us to offer our guests three options for starter, main and dessert (of course these had to be pre ordered). This was a great touch and very appreciated by our guests as its never easy to suit 200 people when you limit their choices but this certainly made it easier!
The St Alban Suite is an attractive room as it is but it can be made to look incredible with the right team working with you which Sopwell can help with.
Thank you for everything and all of your help Sopwell House, we couldn't have changed a thing!

The function room was nicely set up, looked very classy, and everything went perfectly smoothly. It was a nice bonus to see the firework display at midnight as well.
We stayed in one of the suites for the night, which was very luxurious and extremely comfortable.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Sopwell House. Thank you!
