Pavilion Road is really a hidden gem in London. We fell in love with the venue the first time we went to look around. We loved that we could have sole use of the venue and have the intimate wedding reception we wanted. The house itself is beyond gorgeous and had everything we needed. We got married

in December in which the house was beautifully decorated with Christmas tree and decorations. The canapes and our wedding breakfast was exquisite and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating if they tried. We even had sparklers on the terrace after dinner which was a special touch! So lucky we found you!

We chose the venue as it's where my parents got married :)

The coordination was ok / basic but we had to do a lot of chasing and following-up. It felt like we only really got the focus we needed in the last few weeks beforehand. Before that we were clearly just not a near term priority.

to be very organised - e.g. double check the menus and orders. We spotted with 2 days to go there were not any canapes being prepared bc an email had been missed.

Another thing that i noticed were the light bulbs weren't all working on the day. Also we had table centers with candles in and there were no spare candles once they went out which looked a bit lame for the second part of the dinner.

Food choices are limited but the chef was very flexible with adjusting our meals to be more in line with our hopes. Watch out though - you cant taste the wine at the food tasting.

Their recommended florist was a no show on the day too.

They talked about the roof gardens when showing us around- however turned out they couldn't be used as we got closer.

There were odd green spot lights in the downstairs room for my ceremony which i didn't ask for and never really got an answer as to where they came from (ruined photos).

It was absolutely boiling as well all day and seemed the heating couldn't be turned down - everyone kept mentioning how hot it was inside.

The complimentary room that is offered to stay the night is very small indeed. We had to pay extra to have a room with enough space to get ready etc. All bedrooms are very basic. 3 star as disclosed.

All in all it was a lovely day but i think given the final bill we received we should have had a lot more proactive help along the way. A dedicated organizer who really understands how to plan a wedding at the venue from start to finish. Not tell us "we will look into it" and take weeks and weeks to get back. Also someone to really check everything is working and in order on the day is required.

Thanks to everyone :)

I cannot fault 30 Pavilion Road as a wedding venue. From our first walk around the staff there were pleasant, helpful and engaged with what we wanted. Over the months we visited the site several times, often at short notice, and it was never any trouble. On the day of our wedding, the building

looked beautiful, and despite the fact that our event manager changed several times, we never felt as if we weren't getting the best service possible. The venue works really well for a wedding as the three spaces lend themselves well to ceremony, reception and dancing. The rooms were all spotlessly clean and all instructions carried out as requested. The food was fantastic and the waiting staff excellent. Our parents had worried that a wedding in Knightsbridge in the shadow of Harrods would feel stuffy, but in reality it was warm and easy-going, with all the guests using the spaces well for dancing, eating, or having a quiet chat. I would definitely recommend 30 Pavilion Road as a unique and stunning venue for your wedding in London, something a bit different but totally fabulous!
