The day itself was everything we hoped for and more. The venue looked stunning, the atmosphere was perfect. We also stayed in one of the hotel rooms on the night of the wedding, and it was absolute luxury – the perfect end to a perfect day.

loved the food and the venue, saying its the best food they've had at an event like this.
The estate and grounds made for excellent photo opportunities and the room layout was exactly what we needed. Our master of ceremony made sure we knew how the day would run and that we had time to ourselves, which we really appreciated.
Following the wedding we realised we didn't get an opportunity to try the food that was available at our drinks reception and the team graciously provided us with a complimentary selection of sweet treats so we could experience what out guests had.
Overall the service excellent and we'd like to thank Michelle and team for all their hard work.

Our guests were equally impressed, and we received so many compliments about the atmosphere, food, and service. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion.


We didn’t stay in the hotel after the wedding celebration, as we wanted to have more time to fully enjoy all the amenities, especially the spa. Instead, we decided to come back another time for a more relaxing experience.

discussing our ideas and showing us different rooms that could be suitable. We were blown away by how stunning the hotel is, including the grounds and facilities. We knew straight away we wanted our celebration there. Throughout the months of planning, Michelle was supportive, nothing was too much trouble, and she was a pleasure to work with.

I stayed over at the hotel the night before, and the night of, our wedding (the Blackwood suite is incredible!) and from the very moment I checked in, I was treated like royalty. I was surprised – but delighted- that every single member of staff I came across seemed to know who I was and that I was getting married. Jonathan, the Head Concierge, is a true gentleman and he and his team could not do enough for me.

On the day of our wedding, staff came to wave me off to the church and to wish me luck. When our guests arrived at the hotel, everything went so smoothly thanks to Aaron, the Function Manager, and his team. It seemed like every member of staff in the hotel was celebrating our marriage and I could not have felt more valued and cared for. We had a number of vegan guests and the chef created the most delicious menu. All of the food was incredible, my guests raved about it and there was plenty of it. After dinner we went to the Cultra Inn who reserved a dedicated area for us and provided food later in the evening – again, all arranged by Michelle.

Our overall experience of choosing the Culloden for our wedding celebration was pure luxury and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a wedding venue. Thank you to everyone at the Culloden for your support and for making our wedding day so special. Patrick & Angela xx
