Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel will be the perfect choice for your wedding day. With the flexibility of the Lawrence and Cawthorne Ballrooms, or the more intimate Rose Room to choose from, we are sure to able to cater for your needs.

With our dedicated Wedding Team on hand, we will ensure your day is just how you dreamed it would be!

Our packages are designed to minimise the worry of working out the costs of your wedding. However, if you would prefer, we would be happy to quote for any ideas that you may have for your special day.

We are pleased to announce that you are able to perform your Wedding Ceremony in our Historic Building. This will be conducted by the Local Official Registrar, contactable by emailing ceremonies@wakefield.gov.uk

The Rogerthorpe Outdoor Wedding Temple, You are now able to get married outside for a supplement fee of £1000.00.

The venue can also be booked EXCLUSIVELY for your Special Day.

Depending on the size of your Wedding, the Cawthorne & Lawrence Ballrooms each hold up to 102 guests for a Civil Ceremony followed by a traditional Wedding Breakfast and up to 150 evening guests (depending on your evening entertainment) with the availability of extending to 200 day guests and 270 evening guests. The Rose Room holds up to 25 guests for your Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast.

Please also note we are a non Confetti Venue inline with our Green Policies.

Me and my now husband would like to say a massive thank you to Karen, Lee and the rest of the wedding team.

We had a look around with Joe back in 2023, and he was lovely, and he went through everything with us and we knew straight away we wanted to have our wedding day at the manor. For the last …

two years we have been planning our wedding with Karen and she has been amazing. She went above and beyond to help us make our day so special, even just a few days before the wedding we had to make some changes she invited me straight to the manor to sort it all out pretty much straight away. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help organise our day with us. There’s nothing to much for her and we can’t thank Karen enough.

On the wedding morning I was greeted with Michelle and she was so lovely and definitely knows how to settle nerves! She made sure everything was okay and going to plan and asked if there was any last details she needed to know or do.

Throughout our wedding day Lee was absolutely amazing, he’s so well organised and he definitely made sure the day ran smoothly. He made us feel so much at ease and checked in with us throughout the day to make sure everything was okay. Even our guests had made comments to us on how amazing he was.

We can’t thank everyone at the manor enough, even down to the staff on reception they was so helpful and had so much time for me when I needed them for anything.

The most amazing venue and beautiful grounds, we are so so happy we got to have our wedding day here and we can’t wait to look back on our wedding photos and relive it all again!

We could not have asked for more. Our guests have all made comments that this had been one of the best weddings …

they had seen or ever been to. The room setting was absolutely amazing, and the menu was definitely the right one for us.
Al had stayed at the hotel the night before and had seen from the beginning all the hard work it took to make the room special for us. Every detail was so professionally managed. He can admit to being a pain at times, but was always made to feel that didn't matter, you only wanted the best for us, and you certainly delivered.
We can both say that our feelings and emotions were taken to another level. The hotel, setting and the service itself was something that will remain with us for the rest of our lives.
